4. The charges for your freebie will be removed from your order.

For my card and tag I am using the fun Sassy Expensive Stamp Set, which is one of the Free stamp sets you can choose. It is such a great set with the most sassy sentiments...sure to make the recipient laugh out loud.

I started my card by using the three small gems included with the set to create my pattern. I stamped the gems in a random pattern with some jewel tone inks. Next, I used the Jam Jar Labels Die Set to die cut my labels. I then stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink and heat set the sentiment with gold embossing powder.

I thought the gold embossing powder added a nice touch! I also created a wine or gift tag at the same time. I used jewel tone cardstock to match my ink for all of my layering.

The Jam Jar Labels work perfectly for layering or creating a little tag.

I have the perfect person in mind for this card!! I know she will get a kick out of it.
Have Fun on the Blog Hop!! I know there will be lots of inspiration!!

Oh Gnome!

Lawn Fawn

April 30, 2019

Good Morning and Welcome! Today, I am sharing a card for the Lawn Fawn: Lawn Fawnatics Challenge

This time the challenge is a sketch challenge. I used the sketch for my inspiration:

I started my card my attaching my strips of polka dot paper at an angle onto my card panel. I trimmed the edges and started working on my focal piece. I stamped the gnome, mushroom and sentiment  from the Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome stamp set.  I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. My mushroom border and grass are from the Mushroom Border die set. I attached everything to my A2 card base to finish my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day,
Dana

New Release!

Pretty Pink Posh

April 29, 2019

Good Morning and Welcome! There is a New Release at Pretty Pink Posh today and you will not want to miss it!! There is a little bit of everything- Fun Animals, Gorgeous Florals, Graduation, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Embellishments and some New Gorgeous Stencils!!

For my card, I started by creating my rainbow panel. I ink blended a rainbow with Distress Oxide Ink and then layed the Wide Stripes Stencil over my background and added the same colors back through the stencil. So my background has a tone on tone look but where the colors were added twice with the stencil they are darker...such a fun technique and this stencil works perfectly for it.

Next, I stamped the giraffe from the Animals Signs Stamp Set and the elephant from the Elephant Friends Stamp Set. Then, I used my Zig Clean Color Pens to watercolor the animals. Once they were dry I used the Animal Signs Coordinating Dies and the Elephant Friends Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

To finish my card, I inset my rainbow panel between two pieces of white cardstock. Next, I attached my animals to my card front with foam adhesive and attached everything to my A2 card base.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have fun shopping the New Release at Pretty Pink Posh. I can't wait to see what you buy and create!!
Enjoy your day,

Drop A Note

Taylored Expressions

April 28, 2019

I hope you all are having a Wonderful weekend! Today, I am sharing a set of cards that I made a few weeks ago using the Birds & Bloom stencil from Taylored Expressions.

I started my cards by ink blending Distress Oxide Ink onto my card panels. I then added Transparent Gloss Texture Paste from Range to my card panels with the Birds & Bloom stencil. I love the shine that the texture paste adds.

On my third panel, I added the Texture Paste first and let it dry before adding my ink.

To finish my cards, I trimmed my card panels down and added a coordinating strip of cardstock to the top.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from the Taylored Expressions: Drop a Note stamp set along the top of my card panel. I love the bright colors and the added shine of the texture paste.

I hope you all have a Wonderful day,
Dana

Congrats Grad!

Everything's Rosy

Butterfly Reflections Ink

April 26, 2019

Happy Friday Friends!! I am on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog today with my last official post as a member on their Design Team. I would like to Thank Vanessa for her generosity over the past few months. I am sad that my 4 months are over, but I will definitely continue to shop and use products for her store! It is truly my favorite!!
Today, my card uses the Gorgeous Sunny Studio: Everything's Rosy stamp set.

I started my card by stamping my flowers with the Altenew Cherry Blossom Mini Cube Set. Next, I used the Altenew Green Meadows Mini Cube Set for my leaves. I love the Altenew mini ink cubes for layered stamping...they blend perfectly! I also used my Original MISTI Tool to help line up all the different layers. Once everything was stamped, I used the Sunny Studio: Everything's Rosy Dies to die cut my flowers and leaves.

For my card panel, I die cut the Reverse Confetti: Vertical Stripes Cover Panel from white cardstock. I then mounted this onto my A2 card base. Next, I stamped my sentiment onto a cardstock strip and attached this to my card panel. Then, I used 3D Dots Foam Adhesive to attach my flowers to my card front.

To finish my card, I added some of the Pretty Pink Posh: Valentine Jewels Mix to my card front. Do you have any of these jewels? If you don't...you need some!! They are the perfect little touch to a card front and come in a variety of colors and sizes.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you find a little time this weekend to be creative!!
Thanks Again Butterfly Reflections, Ink for allowing me to serve on your Design Team these past four months!!
Enjoy your day,
Dana

Thinking of You

Pretty Pink Posh

April 24, 2019

Hello Friends! I hope you are having a great day!! I am stopping by today to share a quick card from Pretty Pink Posh.

I started my card by die cutting the Spring Frame from watercolor paper. I then used my Zig Clean Color Pens and watercolored the leaves and flowers on the frame. I attached my frame to a background that I ink blended with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.
Next, I die cut my sentiment with the Thinking of You Script Die two times. I like to layer my sentiment (word dies) for a little added dimension and stability. I attached my sentiment to the center of my card front.

To finish my card, I added a few sequins from the Sparkling Cear Sequins Mix. I don't often create a card without any stamping...but today was all die cutting.

Thank You!

Reverse Confetti

April 23, 2019

Good Morning! I am stopping by today to say Thank You to Reverse Confetti for inviting me to be a Fetti Friend for the past two months! I am still pinching myself!! So, I only thought it was appropriate to share a few Thank You cards for my Anything Goes post this month.

For my first card, I created an alcohol ink background. I die cut the Thanks Word Die from my card panel and then mounted my rainbow inked background to the back of my panel. I also added in the negative parts of the letters to give my word a more finished look.

For my sentiments strips, I used the Word Up Stamp Set. I chose sentiments that went with the word Thanks (there is a great variety of sentiments included in this set) and stamped them onto rainbow strips of cardstock.

To finish my card, I attached my sentiment strips to my card panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I attached my card panel to my A2 card base. Such a fun set with so many possibilities!

For my next card I used the same Thanks word die. I die cut it from cardstock in pink, yellow/orange, and aqua. I die cut the word a few times and stacked them for some dimension.

Next, I stamped my sentiment (from the Word Up stamp set) onto a strip of black cardstock adding white embossing powder. I love the way white embossing powder looks on black cardstock.

For my card panel, I used the Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts die. Lastly, I attached my words and sentiment strip to my card front and attached everything to my A2 card base.

Thanks Again Reverse Confetti!! It has been an honor to be a Fetti Friend!

Growing Garden

Technique Tuesday

April 22, 2019

Good Morning and Welcome! Today I am sharing a little seed packet favor/gift perfect for your spring luncheon or table setting.

I started my seed packet band by stamping the images from the Growing Garden Stamp Set with Gina K Amalgam Ink. I then used my Zig Clean Color Watercolor Pens to watercolor the images.

Next, I die cut my images with the Growing Garden Crafting Dies and set them aside to begin working on my bands for the seed packets.

I started by cutting strips of cream/rustic colored cardstock into one inch strips. I then measured and added score lines so that my band would attach around my seed packed. Next, I stamped my sentiments onto my cream cardstock.

To finish my band, I attached a piece of green cardstock following the same format as above- measuring and scoring so everything lined up correctly and the band could be removed. Lastly, I attached my images with foam adhesive.

I think these will make my spring table extra special! You also could write or stamp names onto the band rather than the sentiment and use them for place cards at your table.
