Pretty Pink Posh

Halloween Theme Week

September 30, 2020

Good Morning Friends! Today I am over on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog sharing a card for Halloween Theme Week.

This week everything is the Halloween Section will be 15% off! So it is a great time to stock up on all of your favorite Halloween supplies.

For my card, I started by stamping my images with the Halloween Friends Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic markers and used the Halloween Friends Die Set to cut them out.

For my card layout, I trimmed a white card panel down to 3.75” by 5” and ran it through my die cutting machine with the Storybook 1 Die. I then added Distress Oxide Ink in Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet to each of the die cut windows. Next, I splattered a little black paint onto all of the pieces. Once the paint was dry I stamped my sentiment onto the orange window. Lastly, I inlaid the windows back into the panel and attached my images to my card front with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon with another project to share with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Just Doing a Fly-By

September 28, 2020

Hi Friends! Today I am sharing a fun Halloween card on the Trinity Stamps Blog

I started by card by creating my background. I used the October Night Sky Stencil Set and Distress Oxide Ink. The colors I used were: Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Black Soot, Hickory Smoke and Mustard Seed. This is such a fun stencil set. I love how there are also masks included, so it is easy to create a scene with multiple colors. Once my panel was finished I added black and white paint splatters to my scene.

Next, I used the Fly-By Stamp Setto stamp my witch and bats. I stamped my images in VersaFine Clair ink and heat set it with with embossing powder. I then stamped my sentiment onto a black rectangle and heat set it with white embossing powder.

To finish my card, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to a black card mat. Lastly, I attached my sentiment with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

The Greetery

September 27, 2020

Hi Friends! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I am still loving my latest purchase from The Greetery, and thought I would stop in today with another card.

I started my card my using the Pitcher-esque Stamp Set. I used PinkFresh Studio ink for my stamping, the colors are Blue Jay, Sapphire and Stargazer. For my foliage and sentiment I used the Bittersweet Bouquet Stamp Set. This stamp works perfectly with the pitcher. I used Papertrey Ink in Honey Nut and Americana for the branches and berries and PinkFresh Ink in Apricot and Persimmon for the leaves.

For my background panel, I used the Square Dance Die. I die cut it from white cardstock and attached it to my A2 card base. You will definitely be seeing this die used a lot, I am in love! I kept my background simple today, to not distract from the colors of the pitcher and branches. Lastly, I attached a few clear jewels to my card front.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with a Halloween card for Trinity Stamps.

Enjoy your day,

Ink To Paper

September 26, 2020

Hi Friends! I am back today with another card for Ink To Paper. This latest release included so many wonderful new product, I still have so many things I haven't had a chance to use. So let's get started...

I started my card by running the Border Bling: Joy Die through my die cutting machine. Once I had die cut the panel I added tape to the back to hold the inlaid pieces into place. Next, I masked off the center and ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves over the center rectangle.

For the bird, I used the Feathered Friends 4 Die. I die cut it from white cardstock and added Distress Oxide Ink in Hickory Smoke, Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans to all of the different pieces. For my nest, I used the Hello Pumpkin Stamp Set. I love the way all of these different birds can fit inside the nest that is included in this set.

To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment from the Just Sentiments: Warmth Mini Stamp Set onto a cardstock strip that I had ink blended with Spun Sugar ink.

Thanks for joining me today! Please feel free to ask any questions...I love hearing from you.

Enjoy your day,

Let's Go Nuts

Lawn Fawn

September 25, 2020

Hi Friends! I hope you all are doing well and are ready for your weekend. I spent the better part of yesterday creating this card (shaking my head) and I am still not sure that I am totally happy with it. But I was determined to finish it and get some pictures taken before I started dinner last night.  Also, sorry about my photos- the sun was disappearing and my pictures ended up being a little dark.

I started my card by doing all of my stamping with the Let's Go Nuts Set. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card panel, I used the Leafy Tree Backdrop Die. I ink blended the tree with Distress Oxide Ink in Gathered Twigs. For my sky I used Chipped Sapphire ink. Originally, I was planning to use the Meadow Backdrop Die to create my scene...once I started working on my card I realized that wasn't going to work and I switched gears and decided to use the Leafy Tree Die. Since I had already die cut the Meadow die, I trimmed the grassy hill out and tucked it behind my tree to create my ground. I used Peeled Paint and Crushed Olive ink for my grass.

That is all for today. I need to go get our dinner made... I will be linking up my card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Awesome Autumn. Have you had a chance to play along? It has been awhile for me.

Enjoy your day,

Trick or Treat

Taylored Expressions

September 24, 2020

Hi Friends! I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. Today I am sharing a Halloween card that uses some fun products from Taylored Expressions.

I started my card by using the Pennant Parade Cling Background Stamp. This is such a versatile stamp, and I love how TE is releasing additions to coordinate with the original set. To add color to my pennants I used the Pennant Parade Halloween Set

For my sentiment, I used the Handwritten Halloween Set. I stamped my sentiment with black ink, heat set it with clear embossing powder, and added orange ink. As a final touch, I added a few black paint splatters to my card panel and sentiment.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Halloween Pals

Pretty Pink Posh

September 23, 2020

Hi Friends and Welcome Back! I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. Today I am sharing a fun Halloween card that uses lots of great products from Pretty Pink Posh

I started my card by ink blending my background with Distress Oxide Ink. The colors I used were Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves and Fossilized Amber. I then flicked a little black and white paint onto my panel.  I think these colors make a fun Halloween background.

Once my panel was dry, I started creating my scene. I used the Nature Essential Die Set for my frame, tree and grass (grass was ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink in Crushed Olive). I also used the Spooky Fence Die for my fence. This is such a fun die and adds the perfect touch to your Halloween scene.

Next, I began working on my images. I used the Halloween Pals Stamp Set for most of my images. The ghosts and spider are from the Halloween Friends Set. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

To finish my card, I added a few white gel pen highlights to my images. I then attached everything to my card panel using foam adhesive for a little added dimension.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Autumn Blessings

September 21, 2020

Hi Friends and Happy Monday! I finally had a chance to use a few things I bought from the last release at The Greetery. And once again...Betsy did not disappoint.

My card is mostly all die cutting with no stamping other than my sentiment. I started my card, by die cutting a variety of images from the BotaniCuts Might Oak Die Set and the BotaniCuts Toadstool Garden Die Set. I die cut them from Bristol Smooth Cardstock and used my Distress Oxide sponges and fall colors of ink. I used a variety of colors and my sponges had a lot of ink build up, so my colors are not true to the ink pads I was using.

Next, I die cut my background with the Shiplap Builder Die. I ran it though my die cutting machine two times to have enough pieces to create my card panel. For my sentiment, I used the Bittersweet Bouquet Set

To finish my card, I added some black and white paint splatters to all of my die cuts. Once everything was dry I began to assemble my card. I used liquid glue for most of assembly, this allowed me a few extra seconds to get everything placed on my card panel correctly.

What do you think? I am in love with these dies...I am already working  on a few more cards with them.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon with another project to share.

Enjoy your day,

Joy to the World

Ink To Paper

September 20, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well and having a good weekend. I am so excited that we finally get to go to Church today! They are allowing churches to open up here and have services outside. It has been way too long... I am definitely looking forward to it, even if I have to sit outside in a lawn chair. Who would of thought that churches would be closed for six months?

For my card today, I am using some fun supplies from the latest release at Ink To Paper. Did you make any purchases? What did you get? It is such great release, I couldn't wait to make a few more cards.

I started my card by using The Joy of Now Die Set to die cut the word Joy from glittered cardstock. I then glued strips of PTI cardstock onto a card panel to create my base. Next, I stamped To The World from the Joy Everyday Stamp Set below the strips. Lastly, I attached the word JOY with foam adhesive to my card panel.

A quick card to create. I love these letters and all of their possibilities. Thanks for joining me today and I will be back soon with another project to share.

Enjoy your day,

New Release

September 18, 2020

Good Morning Friends! The New Release from Trinity Stamps is available now!! It is such a fun release, I can't wait to show you everything I have been working on.

To celebrate the New Release the DT is having an Instagram Hop. You will be able to find all of the Hop information, including prizes and lots of inspiration, over on Instagram. But I also wanted to share my card here on my blog.

I started my card by adding dye ink in fall colors to squares of white cardstock. I then used the new Autumn Rainbow Dies and die cut a bunch of leaves from my ink blended squares. Next, I used coordinating stamps and stamped the leaf veins onto the leaves in their corresponding colors. Don't you just love the detail? So pretty!

I then added some flecks of gold, black and white paint onto all of my leaves and my card panel. Once they were dry, I attached my leaves to my card panel in a random pattern. I then trimmed my panel down and attached it to an A2 card base.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto a stitched rectangle. I ink blended a little orange ink around the edges and attached it to my card front with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. Remember to stop by Instagram to join in all of the fun.

Enjoy your day,

Taylored Expressions

Frosty Kit

September 17, 2020

Hi Friends! Today I am stopping by with a couple more cards that use the Frosty Kit from Taylored Expressions. Both of my cards are fairly quick to create and would be perfect for mass producing and mailing. Let's get started...

I started both of my cards by using a few of my favorite masking stencils. I used the Rectangle Stencil and the Square Window Stencil to create my card panels.

On my first card, I stamped my sentiment with the Winter Wishes stamp set onto the Sentiment Strip Duo die. I then added a fun little snowman that I stamped with the Frosty Background and detail stamp included in the kit.

My next card uses the Frosty Background stamp along with the coordinating die to create my snowmen heads. I then attached the snowmen to my card panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few snowflakes to my card panel for an added detail.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my cards. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.

Enjoy your day,

Happy Fall

 Pretty Pink Posh

September 16, 2020

Hi Friends! I hope you all are doing well. I have been having so much fun with my Fall and Halloween stamps from Pretty Pink Posh... It is so fun to pull out stamps and dies that haven't been used in awhile and create something new. I will definitely have lots to share over the next month, so check back often.

I started my card by doing all of my stamping. I used the Sunflowers Stamp Set and the Pumpkin Patch Critters Set. I colored the images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Isn't the little kitty peeking out from behind the pumpkin just too cute?

For my frame, I used the Scallop Frame Die. I die cut it from white cardstock and ink blended the inside piece. I used Distress Oxide Ink: Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Broken China for my blending. Next, I used the Fall Signs Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment onto a black banner. To finish my card, I attached everything to a white card panel and an A2 card base.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you all have a great day and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,
