The Greetery: Let's Celebrate

May 30, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. I am stopping by today with one more card for The Greetery. I wanted to use my Cake Pop Dies to also create a card. I ran out of time for my scheduled post and for the blog hop, so I thought I would share it today.

I started my card by using the Cake Pop Dies. I did all of my die cutting with Bristol Smooth Cardstock and ink blended all of the pieces with Distress Oxide Ink. For my sentiment, I used the Cake Pops Sentiments Set and stamped it onto a Cake Pop Banner Die. I then layered everything together to create my focal image. The possibilities are endless with these dies... they would also make really cute tags to tie onto your gifts.

For my card panel, I die cut the Crimped Frame Die and ink blended the edges with a little Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers. Next, I used the Frosting Border Die included in the Cake Pop Die Collection and attached it to the top and bottom of my panel. Lastly, I added a few jewels to the tops of my flowers and attached everything to an A2 card base.

Thanks for joining me today! I love how these dies can be used to create a Cake Pop, but also used to create a regular card for mailing.

Don't forget to shop the New Release and the Anniversary Sale this weekend at The Greetery!! Everything is 15% off and there is no code needed.

Enjoy your day,

The Greetery: Cake Pops Collection

May 28, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Welcome Back to Day 2 of The Greetery Release. Did you enjoy all of the projects and inspiration yesterday? So many amazing projects were shared! Today, I am using the fun Cake Pop Collection! This is an Amazing set of dies that create the most adorable little cakes.

For my cakes, I started with the Cake Pops Dies. The basic set of dies includes everything you need to make the cakes, though there are lots of fun add on pieces that you can also use. I cut all of my pieces with white cardstock and ink blended them with Distress Oxide Ink. The colors I used were: Festive Berry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers.

For my first cake, I am only using the Cake Pop Dies. The basic set includes the candles and the small flowers that I included on the top of my cake. There will also be deeper bubbles (clear domes) being released to create your cakes with. This new size will measure 2-1/2" in diameter and 1" deep. At the bottom of my cake, I also used the Tear Away Circle Die that was released with the Candy Pops Collection. This die allows you to create a perforated opening at the bottom of your cakes, so the recipient can get the treats out of the container without tearing apart the cake.

For my next cake, I used the Cake Pop Dies along with the Cake Pop Number Candles. There is a slit in the circle cake topper and the numbers (and other accessories) have a flap on the bottom that you fold and slide into the slit so they can stand up...so smart and easy! My daughter is turning 20 next week, so I thought this would be perfect for her place setting at our dinner table.

Isn't this little banner just the cutest? It is from the Cake Pops Banner Die Collection. I stamped Happy Birthday with the Cake Pops Banner Sentiments Mini Stamp Set. Did you notice the cake stand? This is easily made with the Cake Pops Stand Die Collection. So fun and the perfect little stand for all of your cakes!!

I hope you enjoyed my Cake Pops! They were so fun to create and I can't wait to use them for daughter's birthday next week. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Remember to stop by The Greetery Blog for all the New Release information. The Greetery: Think Happy

May 27, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for The Greetery for the next two days! We are Celebrating their one year anniversary with a new release.  Betsy emailed me asking if I would be interested in guest designing for the new release... and I might of let out a scream or two. If you know me, you know I am a huge fan of Betsy's and The Greetery. I love everything she creates so this is definitely an honor.  You can find all the New Release details Here. Let's get started, shall we?

For my cards today, I am using the Think Happy Stamp & Cut Combo. This is such a fun and happy set! I started my card by using the dies (rainbow and cloud). I die cut them from white cardstock and added Distress Ink. The colors I used were: Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet.

For my card panel, I die cut the Silver Lining Cloud to create a stencil. I moved the stencil down my card panel adding Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers to create my background. Next, I used the same Silver Lining Die to create my clouds for the bottom of my card.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in VersaFine Black Ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder. Such a Fun card to create!

Next, I created a simple card set using the Think Happy Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiments onto a white panel and added a few flowers that are included with the stamp set.

I wrapped a little baker's twine around my card panels and added a few sequins to finish them off. Super quick and easy, but just another way to use this fun little stamp set!

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! Remember to stop by The Greetery Blog for all the New Release information.

Thinking Of You

Pretty Pink Posh

May 26, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. Today I am sharing a card that uses some "spring" supplies from Pretty Pink Posh

I love this little row of spring flowers from the Spring Days Stamp Set! I stamped it in a Copic friendly ink and colored the flowers with my Copic markers. For the bees, I used the Bee Friends Stamp Set. The bees are so cute and they work perfectly with the flowers.

For my background, I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers to my card panel. I attached this to my A2 card base. Next, I trimmed down a white panel, stamped my sentiment and attached it along with my images to my card with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few Lemon Drop Jewels to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with a fun announcement and project to share with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Some Bunny Loves Coffee

Trinity Stamps

May 25, 2020

Good Morning Friends! Today, I am sharing a "Just Because" kind of card on the Trinity Stamps Blog. Do you send out mail to let your friends and family know you are thinking about them? I love to do this with my handmade cards. I know it is appreciated and it is nice to let someone know you are thinking about them.

I started my card by using the Slimline Stripes Stencil to create my background.

Next, I used the Dir-Tea Bunny Stamp Set to stamp the adorable bunny and coffee mug. This is such a fun set! I love the different sentiments that can be added to the coffee mug. I colored my images with Copic markers and then used the Dir-Tea Bunny Coordinating Diesto cut them out. You will notice that the bunnies hands are also die cut, this allows you to place the mug in the bunnies hands- too cute!

To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment from the A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything Stamp Set. This is such a great set with the perfect sentiment for so many occasions. I attached my bunny and sentiment onto a vellum circle before placing it onto my stenciled background. The vellum helps to mute the colors from the background and allows the images to stand out a little more. Lastly, I attached everything to an A2 card base.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I inspired you to create some "Just Because" type cards to mail to your friends and family. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Birthday Wishes

Pink & Main

May 24, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Welcome Back! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. Today, I am on the Pink & Main Blog sharing a Fun Birthday Card.

I started my card by creating my background. I glued 1/2 inch strips of cardstock together to create a card panel. This is such a fun technique and easy to do too! I then used the Floral Corners Dies to create my floral cluster. I die cut the floral corner from white cardstock three times and glued them together. This helps to give the die cuts some dimension and stability.

Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Special Day Stamp Set directly onto my card panel. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins to my card panel to finish it off.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

You know I love Rainbows and this my just be my favorite set ever!

These cards were so quick and easy to make. I kept all the cards fairly clean and simple, perfect for mailing.

And one more...

Enjoy your day,

Congrats Grad!

Pretty Pink Posh

May 19, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. Today I am sharing a Graduation card that uses some of my favorite graduation supplies from Pretty Pink Posh

I started my card by creating my background. I used the Graduation Stencil along with Distress Oxide Ink (Hickory Smoke and Faded Jeans). I love how this stencil can be "customized" to create a card panel in the recipient's school colors.

Next, I did all of my stamping. I used the Congrats Grad stamp and die set along with the Hedgehog Friends set. The person I am giving this card to loves hedgehogs, so I was so excited when I realized both of these sets would work together. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dis to cut them out.

To finish my card, I die cut the Decorative Tag 2 die to create my background for my images. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and added my stamped images to my tag with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon with another project to share with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Thanks, You Are The Best!

Sweet Bouquets

Pink & Main

May 17, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. Today, I am on the Pink & Main Blog sharing a Thank You card.

I started my card by stamping a bouquet from the Sweet Bouquets Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair black ink. I then used Tombow Dual Brush Pens to watercolor the bouquet. I love the soft colors that the watercolor pens create. Next, I used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

For my card panel, I used the Plaid 3 Stamp Set. I stamped it in a soft aqua ink and then used the same ink to lightly ink blend around the edges.

To finish my card, I used the Arch Tag Die and die cut it from white cardstock. I once again added a little aqua ink around the edges of my tag. Lastly, I added my bouquet and sentiment to my tag with a some foam adhesive and attached everything to an A2 card base.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,
