Hello Bluebird

Easter Egg Hunt

March 30, 2021

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well and having a wonderful week. Meredith came home late Sunday night and will be here for two weeks, Yeah!! She is still working from home so she will just work from here. Morgan will be home on Thursday and will be home through Easter. So excited to have my girls home for a bit. Things will be a little quiet on my blog as I am not sure how much time I will have for crafting. I do have a few more projects to share before Easter though.

For my card today I pulled out some Hello Bluebird stamps and dies. I think their images are just so sweet! I bought these sets when they were released and definitely haven't used them enough (I've used the stamp set once and the tree house die was still new). I am trying to slowly go back through some of my older sets and use them again... it seems silly to keep buying new things when I have older things that have not been used in so long.

I started my card by stamping my images from the Easter Egg Hunt Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To create my scene I used the Treehouse Scene Die. Such a fun die set, and works perfectly for so many seasons.

Thanks for joining me today. Please feel free to ask any questions or to leave a comment, I love hearing from you.

Enjoy your day,

Pretty Pink Posh

March 25, 2021

Hi Friends and Welcome Back! I am stopping by today with a sweet Easter card that combines a few sets from Pretty Pink Posh. I hope you are loving the new release as much as I am... spring just makes me happy!

I started my card by stamping my images and coloring them with Copic markers. The bunny and basket are from the Easter Bunnies Set. The sweet little row of flowers are from the Spring Borders Set. I love how the Spring Borders also has a die available. I tucked the row of flowers from a die cut grass border from the Nature Essentials Die Set. Lastly, the adorable little butterfly is from the Mom Set

I created my background by ink blending some clouds at the top of my panel. I added a little soft pink ink on the lower half and stamped my sentiment. Once I attached my images I used the frame included in the Nature Essentials Die Set to create a nice clean border and to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Lawn Fawn

Happy Easter

March 24, 2021

Hi Friends! I hope you all are having a great week. I had a little extra time yesterday and decided to use a new Lawn Fawn set that has been sitting in my basket for a few weeks. I am hoping to get a few more Easter cards made so I can mail them out next week. Do you send out Easter cards?

For my card I am using the new Build A Basket Die Set. This is such fun die set. It includes the basket and all of the adorable filler items to create an adorable basket for Easter.

For my card panel I used the Quilted Backdrop Die.  This die makes the perfect for background for Easter. I mounted it onto a piece of green parakeet (Papertrey Ink) cardstock and then attached it to a piece of Doodlebug Design patterned paper. For my sentiment I used the Eggstra Amazing Easter Set

That is all for today, a fairly simple card. Thanks for joining me. I hope you liked my card and I will be back soon with another project to share with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Bunny Hop

March 23, 2021

Hi Friends! I hope you all are doing well. I am stopping by today with two Easter cards that use a few supplies from The Greetery. I am sure if you've visited my blog before you know I am a huge fan of The Greetery. Well, their latest release didn't disappoint. I just hope I have enough time to use it all before Easter arrives...

I fell in love with the Bunny Hop Set as soon as I saw it and knew it was a must have. It's a stamp and stencil combo set, which I love.

I started my cards by making my wreath. I created both at the same time and just switched my colors for each of them. For my first card, I also used the coordinating stamps and dies to stamp some of the images. This step is totally unnecessary but I thought it was a nice touch. For my bow and sentiment I used the new Put A Bow On It Set... I am in love with this bow, I want to put a bow on everything!

For both of my card I used the Square Dance Stencils to create my backgrounds. I then used the Crimped Frame Die to die cut my card panels.

My next card is very similar to my first card. Though this time I stamped my bunnies in soft pastel colors. Which do you prefer? I couldn't decide so I thought I would share both.

I had a hard time not using the bow on this card :) but I thought the sentiment included in the Bunny Hop Set was too cute not to use.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my cards and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

New Release: Countdown Day 4

March 19, 2021

Good morning friends! Today is the final day of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. All of the new products will be available tomorrow night (March 20th) at 10:00 PM EST. Such a great release... what has been your favorite item from the release? Today I am sharing two more cards that use the popular Feathered Friends Sets, along with some of the new sentiment sets. Let's get started, shall we?

My first card uses the new Feathered Friends Mini #9 stamps and die set. I stamped my bird in shades of blue (Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, and Enchanted Evening) and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

For my branch I used the Dear Friend Set. I then added flowers from the Floral Breeze Set. I attached my images to a Soft Stone piece of cardstock that had been stamped (Soft Stone ink) with the Nifty Plaid Background Stamp. My sentiment is from the new Just Sentiments: Milestones 2 Set. Such a fun little set to personalize your project. I stamped it in Enchanted Evening ink and then lightly ink blended Blueberry Sky ink over the top.

Next, I used two dies from the new Love To Layer: Torn Edges Die Set to create my frame. Lastly, I attached everything to a Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening card mat before attaching it myA2 card base.

For my next card I am using the new Feathered Friends 9 Die. I die cut the bird from white cardstock and ink blended shades of yellow onto the different pieces before assembling it.

For my flower I used the Prominent Petals Set (from day 1) and stamped it in bright spring colors. I love this set, the flower is gorgeous and because the petals are two different stamps there are a lot of possibilities for color.

To finish my card I die cut the Skinny Heart Frame from white cardstock. I then ink blended New Leaf ink onto the inside piece. I stamped my sentiment from the new Inside Greetings: Appreciation Set onto a piece of vellum. I wrapped my vellum around my card panel and then inlaid it back into my frame. Lastly, I attached my images with foam adhesive and a few clear sequins to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me these past few days. I hope you have like my projects. Please feel free to ask any questions about any of the products that I have used this week. I will respond to you before the release is available tomorrow night.

Enjoy your day,

New Release: Countdown Day 3

March 18, 2021

Good Morning Friends! Welcome back to day 3 of the countdown for Ink To Paper. We are halfway through the sneak peeks and there is still so much to show you. Remember to stop by the Ink To Paper Blog for all of the release information and details.

Today I have two cards and a treat box to share, so let's get started.

First I have a Mother's Day card to share. I am using the new adorable Berry Best Mom Set. I used the strawberry and bee stamp and created my card panel. I also used the small little heart from the Bee-Utiful Stamp Set to fill in my background. Next, I embossed my sentiment (also from the new Berry Best Mom Stamp and Die Set) onto a piece of black cardstock. I attached my sentiment to a circle that had been die cut with the smallest circle in the Love To Layer: Scalloped Circle Die Set. Lastly, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to a Bright Buttercup and New Leaf cardstock mat.

Next, I am using the new Dainty Deliveries Box Die. Don't you just love the detail on this die? I ran it through my die cutting machine two times and quickly had my box assembled. It is the perfect size to hold a gift card or a small treat. I think these boxes will be beautiful for a wedding or baby shower too.

For my tag I used the strawberry die that is also included in the Berry Best Mom Die Set. You have the option to stamp the strawberry or create it with the dies.  I love that both options are included.

Colors Used: Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Bright Buttercup, Blueberry Sky and True Black

Next, I am using the gorgeous Enchanting Rose Set. This set has me dreaming of summer! This set includes one main outline image and then three layers for the flower details (4 flower stamps total). Because the stamps are large, I used my Misti but it is very easy to line up. I couldn't believe the final image, I am in love with this set.

For my sentiment I am using the new Just Sentiments: Appreciation Set. This set is full of gorgeous sentiments to say thank you. I love the font too. Once I stamped my sentiment I added a few black splatters to my card panel. I then attached my floral images with foam adhesive and tucked my leaves in and around the flowers.

Colors Used: Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, Berry Sorbet, Summer Sunrise, Green Parakeet and New Leaf

What do you think? Do you have a favorite? I would love to hear. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks for joining me today and I will be back tomorrow with day 4 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,

New Release: Countdown Day 2

March 17, 2021

Good morning friends and welcome back to day 2 of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. Today products are perfect for teachers, school and graduation. I have a lot to share with today, so let's get started.

For my first card I am using the new Storybook Teacher Set. This set coordinates with the previous released Storybook Christmas Set. I love how this little add on set can really change the look and design of the original set. You might not know this, but I am a retired kindergarten teacher. So books and school related items always bring a smile to my face.

Next, I used the Growth Set for my shelf, light and sentiment. I felt like these images and sentiment worked well with Storybook Teacher Set. What do you think?

I created my card panel with a brick stencil I had in my stash. Once my panel was finished I stamped my sentiment, cord for the light and brackets for the shelf directly onto the panel. I then added my stamped images with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a frame that had been die cut with the Skinny Frames Diagonal Border Die Set.

For my next card I created a mini slimline card. It measures 3.5 x 6 inches...it is my first time creating a card this size and I am hooked! I love it. Sometimes a slimline card is a little "too long" this size seems to be the perfect combination.

I once again used the Storybook Christmas Set along with the Storybook Teacher Set to stamp my images. For my sentiment I am using the new To Die For Sentiment: Grow Die. I die cut the sentiment from Pure Poppy cardstock.

I ink blended Blueberry Sky ink onto my card mat. I then mounted it onto a Blueberry Sky cardstock mat before attaching it to my card base. Lastly, I attached my sentiment and images to finish my card.

Are you still with me?

My next card involves no stamping and was fairly quick to put together. I created my background by cutting strips of cardstock and attaching them to my card panel in rainbow order.

I then used the To Die For Sentiment: Grow Die to create my sentiment. I ran the die through my die cutting machine three times and stacked the dies together for a little extra dimension and stability. I then attached the sentiment to my card panel with a little liquid glue.

Next, I have a really fun project to share.

This is a large die that create a cap and gown graduation gift card holder. The die is called Go To Gift Card Holder: Congratulations Graduate. There is also a mini coordinating stamp set. It is all so fun and easy to use.

I die cut the gown two times and placed a little adhesive along the sides, arms and bottom to create a pocket.  The hat attaches to the gift card holder on two sides so the gift card can slide up under the hat to help hold it all in place. *Make sure you look at the Papertrey Ink Blog for all of the details or please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back to you.

I kept my design pretty basic, but there are lots of fun ways you can personalize this set. I think it will be really fun to add numbers for the year or letters for school's name.

Hopefully you made it all the the way to the end. Lots of fun products today. I will be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,
