Festive Mugs

Ink To Paper

October 30, 2020

Hi Friends and Welcome Back! I hope you all are having a great week. I am stopping by today with another card for Ink To Paper. The latest release had so many great products I am trying to work my way back through a few of them. Do you have a favorite?

I started my card by using the Corner It: Holly set. I stamped my images and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. This is such a pretty set on its own, though I also love it with the Festive Mug set. They work great together in my opinion. Next, I stamped my mug and candy cane with the Festive Mug set

For my card layout, I splattered a little Blueberry Sky reinker to my card panel. I then used the Border Bling: Skinny Diagonals Frame Die to create my border. I added a little Pure Poppy Ink to the frame and attached it to my A2 card panel. Next, I attached all of my images and sentiment to my card. Lastly, I added a few clear jewels and a little glitter to my berries to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

 October 29, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are having a great day. I am stopping by quickly today to share a card for Taylored Expressions.

I used the Bright Light Background Cling & Clear Combo Set to create my background. For my sentiment, I used the Handwritten Holiday 2 Set. I told you my card was super quick and easy to create...it would be a great one to mass produce.

Thanks for stopping by. I will be back soon with another project to share.

Enjoy your day,

The Greetery

Banner & Bough

October 28, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. I am stopping by today with a couple of cards that use some fun new products from The Greetery. I always love Betsy's products and her Merry Makings Collection did not disappoint.

For my cards today, I am using the Banner & Bough Stamp and Stencil Set

This is such a fun set. There are stencils included in the set that layer together to make the most beautiful Christmas bouquet. Once you finish using the four stencils there are also stamps included to add detail to the flowers and sprigs.

Once my bouquet was finished I used the Banner & Bough Die Set to die cut the floral bouquet and the banner. You can also leave the banner flat on your card panel for a more clean and simple card.

While I was using the stencils I went ahead and made one more card. I kept the colors very similar, just swapping out the blue and red. So quick and easy to use...I will definitely be making lots more of this card. The colors and combinations are endless.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.

Enjoy your day,

Just Saying Hello

Pretty Pink Posh

October 27, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. I shared this card on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog the other day, though I also wanted to share it here on my own blog.

I started my card by creating an alcohol ink background. I used a rainbow of colors and yupo paper. Once my panel was dry I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Bold Butterflies Die. Don't you just love this butterfly? It is so fun and I love all the possibilities with this type of die.

For my card layout, I splattered a white panel with a little black reinker. I then used the Scallop Border Die to create the decorative edge at the bottom of my white panel. Next, I used a leftover piece of my alcohol ink paper for the bottom of the card. To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment from the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set and heat set it with white embossing powder. Lastly, I attached my butterfly and sentiment to my card panel with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon with another project to share.
Enjoy your day,

Trinity Stamps

October 26, 2020

Good Morning Friends Welcome Back! I hope you all had a great weekend. Were you able to participate in the Instagram Hop for the New Release at Trinity Stamps? There were so many amazing projects! And don't you just love the new release? What is your favorite? I would love to hear. I have been having fun creating and will have a lot to share over the next month or so.

Today I am using a fun new die called, We Wish You A Merry Christmas Die Set. This is such a versatile die, I love the font and design. I made a rainbow tree but I think it will look amazing die cut from solid cardstock and mounted onto a card panel for a simpler design.

I started my card by ink blending a panel with Distress Oxide Ink and running it through my die cutting machine with the We Wish You A Merry Christmas Die. I didn't worry too much about a "perfect" blend, because I knew it wouldn't matter one it was cut.

Next, I lightly ink blended the same colors onto my card panel. I then added a few black and white splatters for a little added detail. I used a liquid glue and the negative from my die cut to line everything up on my panel. Lastly, I added a few Melted Icicle Confetti Mix to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you all have a great week and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Autumn Greetings

Pretty Pink Posh

October 25, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. We came up to Spokane for a couple of days to visit Morgan. It will be a quick trip, but definitely much needed! We will be enjoying the cooler weather and enjoying our time together...I sure do miss my girls.

Today I am sharing a fall inspired card for Pretty Pink Posh

I started my card by stamping the Fall Borders Stamp Set with my Misti. I used a watercolor friendly black ink and just moved the stamped along my panel to create a background. Next, I added color with my Karin Brushmakers. This was my first time using these watercolor markers, they are super easy and fun to use. Similar to Zigs except the tip is a little stiffer and the colors are a little more muted in my opinion. I am by no means a watercolor "expert" but I found them to be very easy to use.

Once my panel was finished, I used Perfect Pearls in Perfect Copper to add a few splatters to my panel. For my sentiment, I used the Pumpkin Patch Critters Set. I stamped it in VersaFine Clair ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder.

To finish my card, I trimmed my panel down and wrapped it with some twine. I then attached it to my card panel with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added my sentiment to the front.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with a Christmas card for Trinity Stamps.

Enjoy your day,

Taylored Expressions

October 24, 2020

Good Morning! I hope you all are doing well. October is almost over (one more week) so I thought I better pop in today with another Halloween card for Taylored Expressions.

For my card, I am using the Fireworks Background Stamp & Stencil Set. This set was originally designed for the 4th of July, but I think by just changing the colors it can work great for other occasions too. I stamped the background in black ink and used orange and lime green ink with the stencils. For my sentiment, I used the Mini Strips Halloween Stamp. I also used the Mini Strips Backer die to add another layer of color to my sentiments.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon with another project to share with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Warm Hugs

MFT Stamps

October 19, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I am stopping by quickly today with a card for the MFT Sketch. You might remember, earlier this month I was a guest designer for their release. So I still had a few sets I wanted to use and I thought the sketch would be the perfect opportunity.

I started my card by stamping my images and sentiment with the Warm Hugs and Frosty Kisses set. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card design I followed the sketch and added my images accordingly. I used the Christmas Cheer Paper Pad for my "snowfall" background. There are so many cute designs included in this pad. Lastly, I used the Sweet Snowflakes die set to add a few snowflakes to my card.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you get a chance to play along in the sketch challenge. Here is the sketch:

Enjoy your day,

Hi Friends! I am stopping by today with a Halloween card for Pretty Pink Posh. I've loved being able to "revisit" some of the great Halloween sets from Pretty Pink Posh, they're just so cute and sure to put a smile on the recipient's face.

For my images, I used the Trick or Treat Friends Set. I stamped them with a Copic friendly black ink and colored them with Copic markers. For the bats, I used the Halloween Friends Set

For my card layout, I ink blended Distress Ink in Wilted Violet to to my card panel. I then added a few splatters on purple reinker. Once that was dry I stamped my sentiment and attached my images.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you all have enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back tomorrow with a Christmas card... don't you just love this time of year! Lots of fun crafting to do!

Enjoy your day,

Wishing You Joy

Butterfly Reflections, Ink

October 17, 2020

Hi Friends! I hope you all are doing well and have something fun planned for your weekend. Today I am on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog sharing a card. My stash of birthday cards is getting low, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to pull out a few of my favorite things from PinkFresh Studio and create a card. Let's get started, shall we?

I started my card by using the Sending Love and Hugs Stamp and Die Set. I used PinkFresh Ink for all of my stamping. The colors I used were Coral ReefPassion Fruit and Mint. I just recently purchased full sized stamp pads of PinkFresh Ink and I have to say I am in love...I highly recommend their ink and you can find a full range of  colors in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink online store.

Next, I ran the PinkFresh Studio Colorblock: Gradiating Stripes Die through my die cutting machine. I attached it to my card panel and added my floral image. I then added a few splatters with a little reinker. For my sentiment, I used the Modern Layered Floral Stamp Set. Lastly, I added a few Sparkling Clear Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my card. Have a great weekend and I hope you find a little time to be creative.

Enjoy your day,

Taylored Expressions

October 16, 2020

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you all had a great week. I am stopping by today with a card for Taylored Expressions. I am using the new Seasonal Sprig set. I loved this set when it was released last week, but once I used it I am in love even more. It is definitely one of my favorite Christmas stamps so far this year.

It took me a minute to figure out the best way to use the stamp and the die together. Since it is red rubber, it was hard to line it up onto the die cut with the frame. I ended up cutting a panel a little larger than A2 size. I laid the die onto the panel and "guesstimated" the placement of the stamp. I stamped the holly and then lined up the die onto my panel and ran it through my die cutting machine. Since my panel was a little larger than A2 size I had some extra “wiggle” room to line it all up. I hope that makes sense, please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Let me know if you would like me to walk you through the process with photos too.

Once I had it stamped and die cut I used the Seasonal Sprig Stencil to add my color... so quick and easy.

Next, I stamped my sentiment (also included in the Seasonal Sprig Stamp Set) and added a holly sprig at the bottom of my panel. Lastly, I attached the frame onto my panel with foam adhesive and added a few sequins as a finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. I will be back tomorrow with a card for Butterfly Reflections, Ink. See you then...

Enjoy your day,
