Ink To Paper

Vintage Lanterns

November 29, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Did you do any Christmas shopping or take advantage of the weekend sales? We spent the weekend decorating our house for Christmas, did a little online shopping, and relaxed a little too. Today I am back with another card that uses the Vintage Lanterns Set from Ink To Paper. This was one of my favorite sets from the latest release so I couldn't wait to use it again.

I started my card by die cutting all of my images with the Vintage Lantern Die Set. I then used my Misti and the negative pieces from the dies to line everything up. I just love the images in the Vintage Lantern Set. It's so easy to line everything up and the detail is so pretty.

For my card panel, I used Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening cardstock. I cut a vellum circle with the Love To Layer: Scalloped Circle Die. Next, I stamped my sentiment with the Just Sentiments: Warmth Mini Stamp Set. Lastly, I splattered a little gold and silver paint onto my card front and added a few clear jewels as a final touch.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

The Greetery

S'more Holiday

November 28, 2020

Happy Saturday! I hope you all had a Wonderful Thanksgiving. If you are like most of us I am sure your holiday was a little different. Whatever you and your family decided to do I hope you all enjoyed your day. This year has definitely been challenging for so many of us. I hope the upcoming holiday season is one of peace and comfort for all of us.

I have a few nephews that I buy Christmas gifts for. They are now teenagers or young adults and I struggle with thinking of a gift for them (I think their parents do too). So this year I decided to make it easy on myself and give them money. I will but them some little something (maybe candy or game) to include, but their gift from us will be money.

So of course I need a cute way to give the money and The Greetery came to the rescue. I used the S'more Holiday Set to create the perfect little pocket to tuck in a little cash.

To create my pocket, I used the Graham Cracker Die. I die cut the graham cracker two times and attached them together with a strong adhesive. I then attached all of my s'more images to the front of the pocket. Super easy but cute!

I also created a few tags with the same set. So fun and easy to create. I think these will be adorable tied to a little hot chocolate gift set.

Enjoy the rest of your day and I will be back tomorrow with a card for Ink To Paper.

Heffy Doodle

Merry & Bright

November 26, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy Thanksgiving! I am on the Heffy Doodle Blog today sharing a Christmas card that uses the adorable Santa's Village Set.

I started my card by stamping all of my images from the Santa's Village Stamp Set with a Copic friendly black ink. I then colored my images with Copic markers and used the Santa's Village Dies to cut them out.

I set my images aside and began working on my card panel. To create my sky I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock. I then added a few white splatters to my background and my images. Once the splatters were dry I inset the blended background behind my card panel and attached my images with foam adhesive.

Lastly, I used the Holiday Sentiment Duos Stamp Setto create my sentiment strip. I stamped it onto black cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. This is such a great set of sentiments, I love how it includes sentiments for both fall and winter holidays.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I also want to Thank Heffy Doodle for asking me to be a guest this month. It was a lot of fun and I am thankful for the opportunity. I hope you get a chance to check out their fun stamps and supplies, they are a great company.

Happy Thanksgiving my US friends. I hope you all have a Wonderful day,

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Pretty Pink Posh

November 25, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I am so excited to be joining Tracey McNeely for her 10th annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. Be sure to visit her blog for lots of Christmas inspiration and fun. There are so many wonderful designers and companies participating this year, you won't want to miss all of the amazing projects that are being shared.

Today I am sharing tags for Pretty Pink Posh. Let's get started...

I decided to create shaker tags for today. I am using the fun Ornament Shaker Die

For both of my tags, I ran the Ornament die through my die cutting machine with silver glittered cardstock. I filled my tags with the fun Holly Jolly Christmas Mix. For the small tag tied up top I used sentiments from the Holiday Signs Set and images from the Holiday Greeting Stamp Set

For my second tag, I trimmed the word Joy off of my die cut. I used the Penguin Pals Stamp Set for my adorable little penguin. I then colored the penguin with Copic markers and attached it to the back of my tag. For the trees I used the Winter Scene Die. Once the back panel of my tag was finished, I attached acetate and foam adhesive around the edges of my top tag piece. I then filled my tag with the Holly Jolly Christmas Mix and and closed everything up to finish my shaker.

Also, Pretty Pink Posh is having a Black Friday Sale! Everything in the store is 25% off with the code Friday 2020!! Now is a great time to stock up on some fun new supplies.

Thank you so much for joining me today and thank you to Tracey for hosting this fun event. Make sure to stop by her blog for all of the prize information and all of the fun inspiration using Pretty Pink Posh products.

Christmas Is Coming

Trinity Stamps

November 23, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy Monday! How are you all doing? Are you working on your Christmas cards yet? I am sharing a slimline card today on the Trinity Stamps Blog that would be perfect for making multiples of and easy to mail too. Let's get started...

I started my card by creating my tree. I used the Tree of Lights Layering Stencil. This is a two piece stencil set that creates a beautiful bokeh-effect tree. I chose to use soft pastels colors and keep the colors of my card soft. You can use any colors though, and the results are amazing. The last color I added was a soft pink and then I kept the stencil in place and added a small layer of Glitz Glitter Gel to add some sparkle.

While my Glitz Glitter Gel was drying, I began working on the rest of my card. To create my scalloped border I used the Slimline Scalloped Card Panel Die. I ran in through my die cutting machine with a soft mint piece of cardstock and attached it to my slimline card base. For the stitched bordered on my card panel I used the Stitched Card Panel Die. Lastly, I used the Sentiment For (almost) Everything Stamp Setto create my sentiment.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Brighter Days Ahead

Ink To Paper

November 22, 2020

Good Morning! I am stopping by this morning with another card for the new release at Ink To Paper. I fell in love with the Brighter Days Set and knew it would make the perfect clean and simple card.

I started my card by stamping the sprig of lavender and the sentiment from the Brighter Days Set. I just love the simplicity and design of this set, so pretty.

For my card panel I used the Border Bling: Embossed Frame Die. It helped to keep everything clean and simple, but added just enough added detail. I then cut a rectangle and added a little soft blue ink to it. Next, I used the Border Bling: Diamonds Die to create my diamond frame. I attached my images with foam adhesive and added a few clear sequins as a final touch.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for joining me and I will be back soon with another project to share.

Enjoy your day,

Snow Many Hugs

Mama Elephant

November 21, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I am stopping by today with a card that uses some fun supplies from Mama Elephant. My go to store, Butterfly Reflections, Ink carries Mama Elephant's products and I ordered a few sets a month or so ago. I am just now getting a chance to use them... and now I am wanting a few more!

I started my card by stamping my snowmen with the Little Snowman Agenda stamp set. These (Agenda Sets) are so cute, and there are all kinds of different ones. I think I "need" a few more! I colored the images with my Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card panel, I used the Circular Grid Die. I die cut it from white cardstock and attached it to my A2 card base. I then used some old Doodlebug Designs patterned paper I had in my stash to die cut the circles again. Next, I inlaid the colored circles back into the frame. This is such a great die and it works perfectly with all of these little agenda sets. For my sentiment I used the Let It Snow Stamp Set. Lastly, I attached all of my images to my card panel with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you get a chance to check out all of the Mama Elephant products at Butterfly Reflections, Ink. There are some cute sets!

Enjoy your day,

Pretty Pink Posh

Holiday Fun

November 19, 2020

Good morning friends and welcome back! I hope you all are doing well and having a great week. I am stopping by today with a Christmas card for Pretty Pink Posh. I am definitely in the Christmas spirit and have been creating things like crazy! How about you? Are you getting ahead and getting your Christmas projects completed? I always feel like I am racing against the clock this time of year.

I started my card by using the Whimsical Christmas Stencil. I applied red dye ink directly to my top fold A2 card panel. I just love this stencil, the detail is amazing!

For the Santa, I used the Holiday Signs Set . I colored the Santa with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

Next, I used a basic circle die and die cut a circle from the middle of my card panel to create a window. I then used the same die and die cut a circle to attach to the back of my card panel. I attached my images onto the inside of my card, but the window opening allows them to be seen when the card is also closed. Such a fun and easy card design.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,

Be Merry

The Greetery

November 17, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you are doing well. I had some "extra" time of over the weekend and wanted to use the Snowflake Soiree Set I purchased from The Greetery. I ended up making two cards plus I have a few extra snowflakes that I will use later on a few more cards.

On my first card, I used the stencils to create my snowflake border at the top and bottom of my card panel. The stencils are so easy to use and they makes the prettiest background without a lot of effort.

For my sentiment, I used the Written in Ribbons Holiday Set. I love the font and size of these sentiments, just perfect! I also used to coordinating snowflake dies and stencil to create a few extra snowflakes to tuck in and around my sentiment.

As a final touch I added a few ink splatters to my card panel.

My next card is similar, though this time I used the snowflake stencils to create a border on the left side of my card.

For my sentiment I used the Snowflake Soiree Stamp and Die Set. I once again die cut and stenciled a few extra snowflakes to add to my card panel.

Here are the ink colors I used for my cards: Papertrey Ink- Pure Poppy, Hibiscus Burst, Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, Limeade Ice and New Leaf.
I hope enjoyed my cards today. They were so fun to make and I can't wait to use this set again.

Enjoy your day,

Case This Sketch

Trinity Stamps

November 16, 2020

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I am starting to feel the "rush" of trying to get everything done before the girls come home. They will both be home this upcoming weekend. Morgan will finish out her semester here at home. Her school doesn't want the student coming back on campus after the Thanksgiving break. Meredith will come home and work from here through the New Year. Her work thought it was better than traveling back and forth for the holidays. I guess this is a "positive" part of Covid... We get to have both of our girls home much more than anticipated.

I had a little "extra" time on Saturday morning so I thought I would play along with the Case This Sketch Challenge. When I saw the sketch I immediately knew that I wanted to use the We Wish You A Merry Christmas Die Set from Trinity Stamps. This is such a great die! I love how with one pass through your die cutting machine your card is basically finished.

Here is the sketch:

I created my card by cutting strips of colored cardstock to create my card panel. I then attached my die cuts to my panel with a little liquid glue. Super quick and easy but I think the results are fun and festive.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my card and I will be back soon with another project to share.

Enjoy your day,

Ink To Paper

Release Day

November 15, 2020

Hi Friends! Today is Release Day for Ink To Paper. All the of new products will be available tonight at 10:00 PM EST. Do you have your list made? What is your favorite or must have? I would love to hear.

Today I am using the Winter Woodlands set. This is an amazing set with so many fun elements that allow you to build a gorgeous scene. I love the birch trees and they are still on my desk waiting to be used. Though today I am keeping my card rather simple and I am only using a few elements from the set.

For my card panel, I am using the new Border Bling: Twinkle Die. Isn't this die so cute? I die cut it from white cardstock and silver glittered cardstock. I then inlaid the glittered stars back into the white die cut. So much fun! How cute will this die be for a baby card?? Next, I cut a rectangle and ink blended it will a light blue ink. I added a snow bank and my stamped images to complete the scene. As a final touch I added a few splatters with silver and gold metallic paint.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and all of the cards I have shared over the last few days. It is such a fun release, and I have a few more projects that I will be sharing over the next few weeks. Is there any set you would love to see me use again? Please feel free to ask any question and I will do my best to answer them.

Enjoy your day,
