Trick or Treat

Lawn Fawn

October 31, 2019

Happy Halloween!! I hope you all have something fun planned for your day, and hopefully it includes a treat or two. We've never done a lot for Halloween. When are kids were young we would go to our school carnival, now Ric and I typically stay home. We live in the country, so we don't even have any trick or treaters.  Though, I still enjoy creating a few Halloween cards each year to send out to friends and little ones.
Today, I am playing along with the Lawn Fawnatics ChallengeI wanted to use my Spooky Village Stamp Set one last time before I put it away for the year. So I used the sketch as my inspiration and created my last Halloween card of the season.

I started my card by creating my scene. I cut a rectangle and added Distress Oxide Ink to create my sky. I then used the Stitched Tree Border Dies to create my tree line. Next, I stamped, colored and die cut the Spooky Village images. Lastly, I added few bats to the sky with black ink.

For my sentiment, I used the Spooktacular Stamp Set. I stamped it onto a die cut circle and tucked it under my panel. Next, I used the flags included in the Scalloped Box Pop-Up Die Set to create my banner. I attached all of my element to my card panel, following the sketch fairly closely:

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you all have a Happy and Safe Halloween!!
Enjoy your day,

Merry Christmas

The Greetery

October 29, 2019

Good Morning Friends! Today I have a Christmas card that uses some of my favorite stamp sets from The Greetery. I am using the Bottled Up Stamp Set (my favorite) along with a few others.  I had originally bought this set to make some Fall cards, but I also thought it would work great for Christmas. What do you think?

I started my card by doing all of my stamping. I used the Bottled Up Stamp Set along with the Budding Beauties Autumn Stamp Set. While both of these sets have a more "autumn" feel I think they work really well for Christmas too. I used Gina K ink: Red Hot, Red Velvet, Cherry Red Cube and Jelly Bean Green, Grass Green, Fresh Asparagus for all of my stamping.

For my card panel, I used MFT Stamps cardstock in Cement Gray. I die cut the snowflakes from the Frosty Corners Die Set and attached them to my card front. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Speed Tagging Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set onto a banner and attached this to my card panel too. To finish my card I attached my Christmas bottles with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today! I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Christmas Card Kit

October 28, 2019

Good Morning and Happy New Week! Last Thursday I received my Pink & Main Christmas Card Kit (it had been lost in the mail) and I couldn't wait to create a few things. The kits is amazing- it includes everything you need for some Christmas crafting! There is the most adorable stamp set, paper, cardstock, embellishments, and is a great price too!

For my card and tags I only used products that were included in the kit, with the exception of the Reverse Scallop Square Die. So much is included I will defiantly be making a lot more projects.
Here is a photo of what is included:

For my card, I started by stamping and coloring the fun car carrying gifts. The stamp set is large (6x6) and includes so many great images and sentiments.

Next, I used the embossing folder that is also included for my card panel. Once I ran my card panel through my die cutting machine, I layered my card panel onto a blue and red mat. I then stamped my sentiment and attached this to my card front along with my die cut frame and car.

To finish my card, I added a few small starts that are also included in the kit. They are the perfect little accent!

There are also a pack of tags included in the kit. I used the stamp set along with some of the included embellishments to decorate my fun and easy!
I hope you get a chance to purchase the Christmas Card Kit before they sell out. Quantities are limited, and once they are gone no more kits will be created.
Enjoy your day,

Sketch Challenge

October 27, 2019

Good Morning! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. I am quickly stopping by today to share a card for the MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge. My stash of Birthday cards is getting low, so I used this week's sketch for my inspiration.

My card was fairly easy to put together...I will list the stamps and dies I used at the bottom of my post. Unfortunately, I think a lot of them are retired so I won't add any links.
Here is the Sketch:

I wanted my monster to hold a balloon- so I went ahead and moved my sentiment down to the bottom of my card, adjusting the sketch a little bit.

Stamps: MFT Stamps- Monster Love, Birthday Wishes Balloons
Dies: MFT Stamps- Monster Love, Birthday Wishes Balloons, Pierced Square STAX
Other: Taylored Expressions- Corrugated Embossing Folder, Green Embossing Powder

Enjoy your day,

Pink & Main

October 26, 2019

Happy Saturday Friends! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the New Release from Pink & Main. Today I am on the Pink & Main Blog sharing a card that is perfect for fall, but by changing the colors it can be a perfect Thank You card for anytime of the year.

There have been a lot of "rainbow" wreaths on social media lately, which I love, so I thought I would use the new Wreath Base 2 Dies to create one for Fall. I started my card by die cutting the wreath base from kraft cardstock. I then used the Sweater Weather 6x6 Paper Pad to die cut the leaves to build my wreath. I also used the Winter Wreath Decor Dies to die cut the bow for the top of my wreath. Once all of my die cutting was finished I set my wreath aside and began working on my card design.

For my card layout, I started by die cutting a Stiched Rectangle from beige cardstock. I then splattered a little gold paint onto my rectangle panel. Once this was dry I layered it onto some patterned paper mats from the Sweater Weather Paper Pad

To finish my card, I die cut the word Thanks from the Wreath Base 2 Die Set three times and stacked them for a little extra dimension. Lastly, I attached my wreath with some liquid glue and my bow with foam adhesive. What do you think? I hope I inspired you to create a wreath in nontraditional colors.
Thanks for joining me today!

Enjoy your day,

You're So Sweet

Pretty Pink Posh

October 25, 2019

Good Morning Friends and Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week and are ready for another weekend. We will  be home this weekend...hopefully I will have some time to be a little creative and make a few cards. How about you? Now,  I know the Christmas Release is available at Pretty Pink Posh but I have a few more fall cards that I wanted to share. I loved the fall release and I hope you do too!

I started my card by using the Autumn Leaves Stencil with Distress Oxide Ink in Fire Brick, Ripe Persimmon and Fossilized Amber. I did tone on tone ink blending to create my panel.

Next, I used the adorable Bear Friends Stamp Set to stamp my images. I colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card design, I started with a red cardstock mat. I mounted my ink blended panel on the left side and added a red strip that had been die cut with the Scallop Border Die. I then ink blended a little blue ink onto my white panel and stamped my sentiment. Lastly, I attached my sweet images with foam adhesive to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day,

Thankful For You

Hello Bluebird Stamps

October 24, 2019

Good Morning Friends! I had a little extra time yesterday to create a few cards (just for fun) with some Hello Bluebird Stamps that I had bought from Butterfly Reflections, Ink awhile back. I shared one card on Instagram yesterday, but I thought I would go ahead and do a blog posts with both cards and links to the supplies I used. I will link the products I used back to Butterfly Reflections as that is where I buy my Hello Bluebird stamps and dies. I am also playing along with The Card Concept challenge...they have a Gorgeous fall picture for inspiration.

I started my cards by stamping my images from the Fall Banner Buddies Stamp Set and coloring them with Copic markers. I then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

On this card, I lightly ink blended a little Distress Oxide Ink in Brushed Corduroy over my background panel. I then used MFT Stamps edger dies to add an extra detail to my card panel before attaching it to a piece of plaid paper. Next, I die cut the Thankful For You Word Dies from gold glitter paper and attached them to my card panel with a little liquid glue. Lastly, I attached my wreath and the sweet little bird with foam adhesive.

On the card I shared yesterday, I began by ink blending Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink onto the Vertical Banner Die. I stamped my sentiment and added the adorable little critters and greenery to create my focal piece.
For my card layout, I used patterned paper from the Sunny Studio Colorful Autumn Paper Pad. I attached this to my A2 card base and added a frame that had been die cut from the Avery Elle Wonky Scallop Frame Set. Lastly, I attached my banner to my card front with foam adhesive.

As I mentioned above, I am playing along with The Card Concept challenge with my cards today! Here is the Inspiration photo...I am loving these pumpkins on the front porch. I hope you get a chance to play along.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! I also wanted to mention that Butterfly Reflections, Ink is having a HUGE Clearance Sale! Vanessa is trying to move out some of the older products in her shop to make room for all the New Releases! Make sure you browse the Clearance can find some great deals! Fusion Card Challenge

October 20, 2019

Good Morning! I hope you all are having a great weekend. I had a little time yesterday afternoon so I decided to combine both the Lawn Fanatics Challenge along with the Fusion Card Challenge to create another Halloween card.

Here are the challenge photos:

I used both the colors from Lawn Fawn along with the Sketch and Inspiration from the Fusion Challenge to create my card.
I started my card by using the Booyah stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my card design, I used patterned paper from Doodlebug Design. Their prints and patterns always work so well with Lawn Fawn in my opinion. I created my layout by using the Fusion Sketch as my inspiration. Lastly, I used a sentiment from the Taylored Expressions Mini Strips Halloween set. I love these sentiments sets!

That is all for today! Please feel free to leave a comment or ask a question...I love hearing from you!
Enjoy your day,

Fleece Navidad!

Pink and Main

October 19, 2019

Hi Friends! I hope you all are having a Wonderful weekend!! Today  I am on the Pink and Main Blog sharing a Fun and Festive holiday card with the Adorable Fa La Llama stamp set. The New Release will be available tomorrow and it is Perfect for all of your Holiday crafting!

I started my card by stamping two of the llamas from the Fa La Llama Stamp Set with a Copic friendly black ink. I colored the llamas with Copic markers that matched the Fun new Be Merry Paper Pad. Next, I used the Fa La Llama Dies to die cut my images.

For my card design, I began by die cutting the blue star background paper from the Be Merry paper pad with a die from the Stitched Rectangles Set 2 die collection. I then used two of the hillside borders dies from the new Holiday Scene Die Set. This is a great die set to make a fun interactive card, but many of the dies can also be used on a traditional card design too. Next, I stamped my sentiment onto my snowdrift before attaching it to my card panel, along with my llamas.

To finish my card, I attached my scene to a fun piece of rainbow striped pattern paper from the Be Merry paper are going to Love these prints, they are so Merry and Bright!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and all of the Sneak Peeks the design team has been sharing this week. What are you most excited to order tomorrow? Make sure and tag #pinkandmain on social media, we love to see what you all create!

Enjoy your day,

Lawn Fawn

October 18, 2019

Hi Friends and Happy Friday- Again! I can't believe another week has come and gone. Today I am sharing a fun project for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. I created a Halloween Bat Gift Card Holder, using the colors from the challenge as my inspiration. I am using lots of Lawn Fawn products I received from a recent purchase at Scrapbook Pal, so I will link all of the products back to their web site. Scrapbook Pal is a great place to shop, their shipping is quick and you can't beat their prices!

How cute are these little bats? I started by die cutting the basic bat shape from the Woodland Critter Huggers Die Set. I then used the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Huggers Bat Add-On die set and die cut all of the fun details to create my bat. I followed the video on the Lawn Fawn website: Lawn Fawn Huggers Bat Add-On Video for easy to follow directions.

I wanted to create gift card holders with my bats so I added the Stitched Gift Card Pocket to the back of my assembled bats. Such a fun way to give a treat, and who doesn't love a gift card?
I hope you get a chance to play along with Lawn Fawnactics challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day,

Pretty Pink Posh

October 17, 2019

Good Morning Friends and Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop! Today is Day 2 of the Hop so please make sure you followed along yesterday too- there are prizes to be won and you won't want to miss any of the fun cards and inspiration that is being shared along the way. This is such a great release, full of stamps, dies, stencils and gorgeous confetti, perfect for all of your holiday projects.

Today, I created two cards from one card panel to share with you all. Let's get started...

I began by stamping the Snowflake Border from the Winter Borders Stamp Set in VersaMark ink and heat setting white embossing powder onto the stamped images. I then added Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet to the strips.

I attached the ink blended strips to a thin piece of paper and die cut the large JOY with the Joy Coordinating Dies. I then die cut the word JOY again from glitter cardstock. Next, I inlaid the glitter cardstock letters into my card panel and set the ink blended letters aside for my second card.

I stamped the little Christmas images and my sentiment from the Joy Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Lastly, I attached them to my card panel with foam adhesive.

For my second card, I used the die cut JOY letters for my card design.

I attached the letters to my card front and stamped my sentiment directly onto my card. I then added a few stamped icons to my card design keeping everything fairly clean and simple. You can see in the photo below, it is fairly easy to get two cards from this one card panel.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! I will have lots more to share with you over the next month or so...this is such a Great release, I created a lot! Have you already done your shopping from the New Release? What are your "must have" from this release?
