For The Record

Avery Elle Stamps
September 30, 2019

Hi Friends! Today I am on the Scrapbook Pal Blog sharing a fun set of shaped cards using some products from Avery Elle Stamps and Dies. I think they make the perfect card to attach to a gift or to hold a gift card. I am thinking I will use them to hold an ITune Gift Card for my nephews. Super Fun!

I

I started my cards by using the Avery Elle For The Record Die Set to create the pockets. I then used Avery Elle For The Record Stamp Set to do all of my stamping. Next, I assembled my record pockets. I used 1/8" Scor-Tape to attach the top and bottom of the pockets together. The die cuts score lines to make the assembly very easy.

I always have a hard time coming up with a card idea for a teenage boy...I think these will be perfect. A super fun way to give a gift card too!! I am even thinking it would work for Christmas if I just change my colors. I hope I have inspired you to give these fun stamps and dies a try!!

Enjoy your day,
Dana

Trick or Treat

Pink & Main

September 29, 2019

Happy Sunday Friends! I hope you all are Enjoying your weekend and are finding some time to be creative. Today, I am sharing some Halloween treat boxes on the Pink and Main Blog. Halloween is all about the Treats in my opinion, and the New Products this month are perfect for Halloween Treats!

I started by stamping the Pumpkin from the Trick or Treat Stamp Set Trick Or Treat Stamp Set in a Copic friendly black ink. I then used my Copic markers to color the pumpkins.

Next, I used the coordinating Trick Or Treat Dies to cut them out. I stamped the Jack o' Lantern faces in black ink and added clear embossing powder to give the faces a little shine.

\
For my treat boxes, I used an older pillow box die that I had in my supplies. (Any small box would work though) I used the Sweater Weather Paper Pad for all of my patterned paper. This paper pad is perfect for Fall and Halloween.

Once my box was die cut. I cut a strip of patterned paper and wrapped it around the center of my box. I then cut a smaller strip and once again wrapped it around my box before wrapping around a piece of black grosgrain ribbon.

Next, I attached my Jack o' Lantern to my ribbon. I love how the handle is cut out when you use the coordinating die...perfect for tying onto the boxes.

All that is left is to fill the boxes with candy or another small treat! Will you be creating treat boxes for Halloween? The New Release at Pink and Main is full of fun stamps, dies and paper that are perfect for Halloween crafting!

Enjoy your day,
Dana

STAMPtember

Simon Says Stamp and Pretty Pink Posh

Hi Friends! I am so excited to be participating in all the STAMPtember festivities!!  It has been a Celebration all month long at Simon Says Stamp and tonight Pretty Pink Posh is revealing their stamp set! The stamp set is called Topiary Stamps and it will be exclusive to Simon Says Stamp. Once it is sold out it will be gone, so you definitely want to place your order soon. I created two cards to share with you all today but I hope to be back soon with a few more ideas. Let's get started...

For my first card, I created a rainbow of trees. I used the three different solid tree images along with my MISTI to stamp the trees in a row. Next, I stamped my sentiment directly under my trees.

For my card design, I trimmed down my card panel and added a solid black cardstock strip to the bottom. Next, I attached a piece of rainbow striped paper from the MFT Stamps Over the Rainbow Paper Pad to the bottom of my card panel. Lastly, I attached everything to an A2 card base. A fairly quick card to make and I love how it is so bright and cheery!

For my next card, I wanted to use more autumn type colors. I began by stamping the smaller tree with VersaMark ink and added clear embossing powder to my stamped images. I then added Distress Oxide Ink in Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves over the top of the embossing. I spritzed the trees with water and used a small stitched circle to die cut them.

I then mounted my circles onto some patterned paper from Sunny Studio Colorful Autumn Paper Pad. To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment onto a small kraft strip of cardstock, once again using my MISTI to keep everything lined up.
Thanks again for joining me tonight! Remember there are only a few days left of Stamptember and once the stamps and dies are sold out they will not be available again.
Happy Shopping!
Enjoy your day,
Dana

Reverse Confetti

September 25, 2019

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are having a great week. September is almost over, so I thought I had better get a card made for the latest Stock Your Stash Challenge at Reverse Confetti. This month the theme is Halloween and Fall Fun. I don't have any Reverse Confetti Halloween stamps (although there are some cute ones) so I decided to make a fall card.

I started my card by stamping the wreath and a few accents from the Fall For You Stamp Set. I colored the images with Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I die cut the Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator from patterned paper and from vellum. I heat set my sentiment onto the vellum piece with gold embossing powder. I then layered that onto my pattern paper piece. All of my patterned paper is from the Photo Play Fall Breeze paper pad.

Supplies:

I hope you get a chance to play along.

That is all for today! I appreciate all of you that take the time to stop by.
Enjoy your day,
Dana

Cheeky Chickens

Technique Tuesday

September 23, 2019

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend!! Ric and I have been enjoying some time in our most favorite place, Maui. We will be here for a few more days before we head back home. It has been a true vacation and so much fun! Today one of my best friends from college is also coming to Maui on vacation, I can't wait to see her and catch up!!

Ok...onto the reason most of you are here, a card and a special announcement! From 9/22-9/26 All of the Sassy Sentiments Stamps and Dies Collection will be on sale at Technique Tuesday!! All you will will need to do is use the code TTSass to save 20%. These stamps are so much Fun and Full of Sass!

For my card today, I am using the Cheeky Chicken Stamps and Matching Dies Set. This set includes the most adorable chicken with the funniest sentiments.

I started my card by using a stencil and doing some simple masking to make a focal point for my image. I then stamped my chicken and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. Next, I stamped my sentiment onto my card front. Lastly, I attached everything to a top fold A2 card base and tied a little baker's twine across the top.

I went ahead and made a second card that is very similar...I just changed my ink blending design and my sentiment. Now, this set does include sentiments that would not be appropriate for some people. Though I think I might know a person or two that would get a chuckle out of it.

Remember to go check out the Sassy Sentiments Collection at Technique Tuesday. You have until September 26 to use the code: TTSass to save 20% off all of the stamps and dies in this category. Happy Shopping!

So Mini Hellos

The Stamp Market

September 22, 2019

Happy Weekend Friends! Today, I am on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Blog sharing cards that use The Stamp Market: So Mini Hellos Stamp and Die Set

I started my card by stamping my car and the fun balloons from the So Mini Hellos Stamp Set. I colored my balloons with a few Copic Markers and used the So Mini Hellos Dies to die cut my images. I left my car white which made for a quicker card, and I honestly felt like it didn't need any color.

Next, I began working my shaker element. I die cut the Focal Point Stripes Elle-ments from Avery Elle. I added acetate behind my die cut along with some foam adhesive. I then filled my shaker with Iridescent Mini Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh before closing it up.

To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment onto a die cut strip (the negative piece from my original cut) and inlaid it back into the shaker element.

I know it is early to start thinking about Christmas cards...but I fell in love with the tree tied to the top of the car!! How cute it this? This time I didn't do any coloring, just a few quick stamps and my card was finished.

I am in Love with this stamp set! So many occasions are covered and the little images are just so much fun to use!

Enjoy your day,
Dana

Fall Borders

Pretty Pink Posh

September 20, 2019

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all had a Great week and are ready for your weekend. Today I am sharing a Fun set of Fall Cards that use a few stamp sets Pretty Pink Posh.

I started my cards by stamping the Gorgeous borders from the Fall Borders Stamp Set. I stamped them with VersaMark ink and added Copper embossing powder. These borders do all the work for you...stamp and color or stamp them directly onto colored cardstock for another great look.

I then colored my borders with Copic Markers. I used colors that would coordinate with my patterned paper.

Next, I created a few banners for my sentiments. I stamped my sentiments from the Fall Signs Stamp Set onto my banners and set them aside.

For my card layouts, I used patterned paper from Doodlebug Design (Fall Friends). I just mixed and matched my paper to create a few different backgrounds.

Lastly, I attached my Fall Borders to my card front with foam adhesive and tucked my sentiment under my border. These border stamps make for a quick card...I love them!

I also wanted to let you know that Pretty Pink Posh is having a Sale on Everything in the Fall Category! There are some Wonderful stamps and dies included in the sale, perfect for all of your Fall crafting.

Grateful For You

SugarPea Designs

September 18, 2019

Hi Friends! I hope you all are having a Wonderful week. So many things to be Grateful for, today and everyday!

Today, I am playing along with the SugarPea Designs: Mix It Up Challenge. I thought the colors for this month's challenge were so pretty together, and not something I would typically choose. I combined both the colors and the sketch for my card.

I started my card by embossing the Eucalyptus Wreath in silver. I stamped it twice with my MISTI on both the green and pink/mauve cardstock. Once, it was heat set I cut the mauve piece of cardstock on an angle following the sketch. I then lined up my image with the green embossed wreath.

Next, I die cut the Grateful Word Die from blue cardstock and attached it to my card front. Lastly, I used the Grateful Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment onto a banner.

To finish my card I flecked some Perfect Pearls mixed with water onto my card front. Thanks for joining me today and I hope you get a chance to play along with the SugarPea Design challenge this month.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
