Top Down Day

April 29, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. We were suppose to be in Costa Rica this week enjoying the sunshine and a vacation... we are at home with canceled plans, lots of canceled plans actually. Although, we are thankful to be home and healthy, a little part of me was a little disappointed when I looked at my calendar and saw the flight information. We had never been to Costa Rica, and we were looking forward to experiencing a new place.  For now we will just be dreaming about vacation, travel and the sun! What are you dreaming about? What are you missing the most?
Today, I am sharing some cards that use the fun Top Down Day Stamp Set from The Greetery. This set will definitely put a smile on your face, so cheery and fun!

My cards were fairly simple to put together. I just used the stamp and dies that are included with the sets, along with Altenew Ink to do all of my stamping.

How cute are these cars??

The color sets I used were: Tropical Forest, Cherry Blossom, Lapis Lazuli, Sweet Dreams and Golden Sunset.

That is all for today...kind of quick! Thanks for joining me and I will be back soon with another project to share with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Congrats, Grad!

Ink To Paper

April 28, 2020

Good Morning Friends! If you are like me, you know a lot of graduates that are finishing their last semester of school at home. We have a lots of friends with kids that are graduating from both high school and college, so I thought I would get started on my graduation cards.

I started my card, by stamping the penguin from the Critter Carolers Stamp Set. I then used the graduation "accessories" from the Hats Off Stamp Set to make my penguin a graduate. Penguins can graduate, right? Just kidding, but I do think it is fun how the two sets can work together. Next, I used the Charming Tags Die to die cut my tag. I ink blended Blueberry Sky ink around the edges and stamped my sentiment from the Inside Greeting: Graduation Mini Stamp Set onto the tag.

For my card panel, I die cut the Border Bling: Tin Stitch Die from Pure Poppy cardstock. I mounted this onto an Enchanted Evening mat. Next, I added a strip of Enchanted Evening patterned paper and wrapped a piece of baker's twine around the center of my card panel. Lastly, I attached my tag to my card front with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with a few cards using some a fun set from The Greetery.
Enjoy your day,

Otter Space

April 27, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Happy Monday! Today, I am on the Trinity Stamps Blog sharing a card. For my card, I am combining a few different supplies (stamps, dies and a stencil) that are part of the latest release. Let's get started, shall we?

I started my card by creating by background. I used the Crater Layers Stencil along with Distress Oxide Ink. This stencil is so easy to use and line up. There are etched lines on the stencil so you can easily tell where each layer should be placed. For my crater I used: Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple inks. There is also a mask included in the stencil set. So I attached the mask to my card panel (to cover the crater so it wouldn't get ink on it) and ink blended my sky. The colors I used were: Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot. I spritzed my card panel with water and set is aside to dry.

Once I had my background finished, I began working on my spaceship. I used the Make A Spaceship Die Set for this step. I cut the pieces out of white cardstock and used my Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the pieces before glueing everything together. How cute is this little spaceship? I think it would make really cute little tags too, perfect to tie onto a birthday gift!

Next, I did all of my stamping. I used the Otter Space Stamp Set and stamped my images. I colored them with Copic markers and used the Otter Space Dies to cut them out. I love how there are even dies included for the sentiments!

To finish my card, I placed the cute little otter into the spaceship and attached him to my card panel with foam adhesive. Next, I attached my sentiment along with a few little stars to complete my scene.

Doesn't this cute little otter just make you smile? Thanks for joining me today! I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Pink & Main

April 26, 2020

Good Morning Friends and Welcome Back! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekend. Today, I am on the Pink & Main Blog sharing a card that is sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

I started my card, by stamping all of the vases from the Gorgeous Vases Stamp Set in a rainbow of colors. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I attached them in rainbow order onto my card panel that had been die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Die.

Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Just Because Stamp Set directly onto my card panel.

For my flower, I used the Daisy Bugs Stamp Set. I thought this single daisy fit perfectly into my vase. I kept the flower black and white, and let the color of the vases be the focus. Next, I splattered a little black paint onto my card front. This was an afterthought... what do you think? Do you like it better with the black splatters, or clean and simple?

Thanks for joining me today!
*Remember to comment on my post from Friday to be entered to win the PinkFresh Studio stamp and die set. I will be picking a Winner tomorrow morning!!

Enjoy your day,

PinkFresh Studio

April 24, 2020

*** Morgan picked a random Winner this morning!! Congratulations Dorothy A!! Please send me an email with your address and I will get your package in the mail!!

Good Morning and Happy Friday! Another week has come and gone... I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy. I have been going through my stamps and using some sets that I had bought and never used. Please tell me I am not the only one that does that- buys things and then never uses them?? I had bought this PinkFresh Studio set, Let's Celebrate, when it was first released... and yes, I am just now using it for the first time. I think it is now discontinued, though I did find it here on the Emma's Paperie online shop.
** Since this set is no longer available I will do a Giveaway!! All the information can be found at the bottom of my post.

PinkFresh Studio is having a weekly sketch challenges in their Facebook group, so I thought I would play along. Hopefully it is okay that the set I am using is now discontinued. The sketch for the week is an oval, so I am also loosely interpreting the sketch. What do you think? Am I breaking too many rules? Lol!

For my card, I used the coordinating die and die cut it from watercolor paper. Next, I used my MISTI and stamped all of the images. I then used my Zig pens to watercolor all of the images. (No 025 Pink, NO 050 Yellow, No 041 Light Green, NO 031 Cobalt Blue)

Once everything was stamped and colored, I stamped my background streamers and confetti onto my back panel. I used foam adhesive to attach the two piece together and to give my card a little dimension  Lastly, I attached my card panel to an aqua card mat before attaching everything to an A2 card base. To finish my card, I attached a few Aquamarine sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

How would you like to Win this set? All you have to do is leave a comment to be entered! I would love to hear how you are doing or what you are doing to keep yourself busy while at home. I will pick a random number on Monday morning, April 27th, and that comment (person) will be the winner!! I will update this post on Monday with the winner. I will also contact the winner by email so I can get your address to ship the stamp and die set to you.
Here is a photo of what you will win:

Thanks for playing along! Good Luck!!
Enjoy your day,

I started my card by using the Hedgehog Friends Stamp Set. I stamped my images and colored them with Copic markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my background, I used the Layered Clouds Stencils. I laid the first stencil onto my card panel and added Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass. For stencil B, I used Distress Oxide Ink in Stormy Sky. On a separate piece of cardstock,  I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn to create my ground. To finish my card, I attached my card panels together and added my stamped images with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon to share another project with you all. Take Care!

Brighter Days Are Ahead

Concord & 9th

April 21, 2020

Hi Friends and Welcome Back! A couple of weeks ago I purchased a few sets from Concord & 9th. I fell in love with their new Rainbow products, and I had to have them. I have read that some people are tired of all the rainbows in card making (can you imagine?? lol). Well, I am not one of those people, I will use a rainbow every chance I get! I love Rainbows and they honestly put a smile on my face every time I see them. So if you are like me, you will love these sets from Concord & 9th.

My cards today are pretty straight forward. I used the Rainbow Turnabout Stamp for my backgrounds. The turnabout stamps are so fun to use. Have you tried them before? There are some easy to follow videos on the Concord & 9th website that will help you out.

I then used the Brighter Days Stamp and Die Set for my sentiments.  I love how these two sets work so well together.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy. Take Care!
Enjoy your day,

Budding Beauties: Spring

April 20, 2020

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend...ours was good, just safe at home. I hate to complain, but I sure wish this was all over and we could get back to some normal activity. I hope you all doing well and staying healthy.
Today, I have a couple of card that uses some fun supplies from The Greetery. I will also be linking my cards up to The Card Concept Challenge. This is always a fun challenge, I hope you get a chance to play along too.

For my cards, I combined a few sets from The Greetery. I love everything Betsy creates, and I love how so many of her sets work together.

The bottles are stamped with the Bottled Up Stamp Set. For the flowers, I used the Budding Beauties Spring Stamp Set. Lastly, the bird is from the Robin & Wren Set. I stamped a variety of items from each set, and then picked and chose what I wanted to use for each card.

For my card design, I let the stamped images be the focus. I just layered the pieces and images onto the card panel, until I was happy with the layout.  You really can't go wrong.
Here is the photo for The Card Concept

Thanks for joining me today. Please feel free to ask any questions or leave a comment. I love hearing from you.
