Hop To It

Taylored Expressions

February 27, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. I am stopping by today to share a couple of cards that I made with a recent purchase from Taylored Expressions. You might of seen these photos in my Instagram story, but I wanted to do a blog post too.

I started my card by creating my card panels with the Square Windows Making Stencils. These are so easy to use and create the perfect panel! I love how everything is lined up, without any measuring.

Next, I stamped the Bunnies with the Hop To It Background Stamp and used the coordinating die to cut them out. Doesn't this little pile of bunnies just make you smile?

I then attached the die cut bunnies onto my card panel with a little foam adhesive. The colors I used for my ink blending, stamping and cardstock is Papertrey Ink: Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Green Parakeet and Hawaiian Shores.

Lastly, I used the Mini Strips Easter Stamp and Die Set to stamp my sentiments onto coordinating cardstock. Have you tried these sentiment strips yet? They're so easy to use and they create a lot of sentiments with one stamp and one pass through your die cutting machine.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Let's Party

Pretty Pink Posh

February 26, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are having a Wonderful week. I have been busy creating...we have a few trips coming up and I am trying to get ahead.

Today I am sharing two birthday cards that use the Layered Birthday Stencils form Pretty Pink Posh. You know I love to use stencils, and this is a great set! The stencils can be used together and layered, or they can also be used on their own.

I love these banners! I started my card by spraying the back of my stencil with Pixie Spray to help hold everything in place. I then added dye ink directly onto my card panel with a blending brush.

Next, I trimmed down my card panel and attached it to a turquoise card mat.  I then used the Piñata Party Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment.

To finish my card, I added a few jewels from the Party Jewels Mix.

For my next card, I did tone on tone ink blending. I ink blended a card panel with rainbow colors. I then used Pixie Spray and laid the stencil over my ink blended panel. Next, I applied the same color of ink with the stencil. This makes the balloons darker than the background, such a fun and easy technique.

I once again used the Piñata Party Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment. I used VersaMark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. Lastly, I used foam adhesive to attach my sentiment to my card panel.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Easter Peeps

Ink To Paper

February 25, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all are doing well. I am stopping by today with an Easter card to share with you. I fell in love with the Love My Peeps Stamp Set from Ink to Paper that was released earlier this month, and couldn't wait to create another card.

Now you know I love a rainbow card, and these Easter images were just screaming at me to stamp them in a rainbow of colors. Once I started stamping, I realized my images would not fit on a standard A2 card front... So I decided to make a slimline card.

Once I had all of my images stamped, I began working on my card design. I used the Trinity Stamps Slimline Scalloped Card Panels and Banner Die Set to create my background. I added Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and Broken China to my die cut. Next, I used the Trinity Stamps Slimline Scenic Border Die to create my grass. For this piece, I used Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn.  I spritzed my card panels with water and set them aside to dry.

Next, I attached my grass to my scalloped card panel with foam adhesive. I then added my stamped images to my card front. I tucked the pieces in here and there with different pieces of foam adhesive to create depth and interest.

Once all of my my images were attached, I stamped my sentiment onto a banner that is included in the Scalloped Card Panel Die Set.

To finish my card, I attached my card panel to a 3.5 x 8.5 card base. This card size will fit in a standard size envelope, and Trinity Stamps also sells them in a variety of colors. Here is the link: Slimline Envelope Assortment.
Thanks for joining me today! I will be back soon to share another project with you all.
Enjoy your day,

Easter Jubilee

The Greetery

February 24, 2020

Good Morning Friends! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend. Last week I got my order from The Greetery and I could not wait to create a few cards with Easter Jubilee Set. You know how much I love Betsy and everything she creates... well this little kit just might be one of my favorites from her! So quick and easy to use.

I started my cards by using the stencils. There are three stencils included and they are the same size as an A2 card base. They are very easy to use and line up. I created my card panels in a few minutes.

Next, I used my MISTI and the Easter Jubilee Stamp Set to add the details to my stenciled images. This step really adds a lot to the stenciled focal point.

To finish my cards, I used the Easter dies and die cut my letters. I attached them to my card panel with liquid glue. The stenciled area creates the perfect backdrop for the letters and makes it very easy to line everything up.

To finish my cards, I stamped my sentiments (Happy and Blessings) onto the banner that is also included in the set. I then attached the banner to my card front with foam adhesive.

What do you think? Did you already buy the kit? If you are hesitant I can't encourage you enough. These cards were so easy to create. I can't wait to make a few more...
Enjoy your day,

Happy Easter

Pink & Main

February 23, 2020

Hello Friends! Today I am on the Pink & Main Blog sharing an Easter card that uses some products from their latest release. The new release is so much fun and has a little bit of everything! What is your favorite? There are so many great sets being released this month, it is definitely hard to choose.

I started my card by stamping my images from the Easter Eggs Stamp Set. I colored everything with Copic markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next, I began working on my card layout. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut a card panel. I then used the Thin Alpha Dies to die cut Happy Easter. I quickly blended a little Distress Oxide Ink onto each letter before attaching them to my card panel. I am loving these letters! To finish my card, I die cut a rectangle with the Reverse Scallop Rectangle Die to create my frame. I ink blended some lime green ink onto the inside piece, and then inlaid it back into my frame before attaching it to my card panel. Lastly, I attached my Easter images onto my Scallop Frame with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you get a chance to stop by Pink & Main and check out their latest release.
Enjoy your day,

Reverse Confetti

Cheerful Pals

February 21, 2020

Good Morning and Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week. I am stopping by quickly today to share two card for the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge. This month the theme is Encouragement and Congratulations, so I thought the Cheerful Pals stamp and die set would be perfect.

I stamped my images from the Cheerful Pals stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. On my first card, I stamped my sentiment with the OMG stamp set and then added my cheerleader.

On my next card, I used a card by my friend Amy Kolling as my inspiration. Amy and I spent a few days together at the beginning of the month and she created a make and take with a similar layout. I thought it would work perfect for this set too. Thanks again Amy for the inspiration!

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you get a chance to play along with the Reverse Confetti Challenge this month too.
