Hip Hip Hooray Collection
Welcome back to day two of the new product introductions for The Greetery. Today we are continuing on with our celebration and using some amazing new products for birthdays, celebrations and more! Remember, you can find all of the new product information on The Greetery's Blog. I have lots to share today, so let's get started.
My first card uses the new Takes the Cake set. This set has so many possibilities!! I used the floral stencils and stamp set but there are also dies to create layered cakes, individual florals and so much more! Everything coordinates beautifully and is so much fun to use! I know this is a set I will reach for often.
I started my card by using the cake die to die cut my cake (base). I then used the coordinating Takes the Cake stencils to add the floral detail. The stencils have an etched line of the cake so it is very easy to line everything up. Next, I used the Takes the Cake Banner die along with the stamp set to stamp my sentiment.
Once I die cut my stand with the Takes the Cake Stand die I mounted it onto my card panel. I then added my cake and banner with foam adhesive. Lastly, I used the Takes the Cake dies to create my candles for the top of my cake and to finish my card.
My next two card use the new Gifts Galore stencil and die set. I used the stencils to create my fun packages and then used the coordinating dies to add the ribbons and bows. There is also a stencil for the ribbons, though I decided to use the dies.
My first card uses more pinks, though for my second card I used more blues to create more of a "boyish" card. I also think this design and colors would be fun for a baby shower card too.
Once my panels were finished I used the Curio Divider & Details 2 die to create my frame for the presents. This step is totally optional, though I do like the way it finished the panel and adds another layer.
There is also a Hot Foil plate and a Hidden Message die included in this set. The Hidden Message die is fun in that it creates a door so you can stamp a message or sentiment underneath one of your present. I decided to stamp my sentiment inside my card though, the peek a boo door is really cute!
For my last card today, I created a mini slimline card with the Hey Cupcake dies.
I started my card by creating my cupcakes with the Hey Cupcake die set. I die cut the pieces from white cardstock and then ink blended the layers with dye ink before assembling. Next, I used the Window Dressing Dotted Scallops die to create the square openings in my panel. Lastly, I used the new Sweet & Fancy Label set to stamp my sentiment. Although I created a birthday card there are sentiments included for lots of different occasions.
