Color Throwdown Challenge

June 2, 2020

Hi Friends! I am so excited to be a "guest designer" for the Color Throwdown Challenge for the month of June. I will be posting a card every week and participating in their weekly challenges. I use to participate in challenges all the time... though now with design team work I don't have as much time to participate. So when Wanda asked me to be a guest, I of course said Yes! I am looking forward to pulling out some stamps that I have been wanting to use and creating something just for fun.

Here are the colors for this week's challenge:

My card is fairly simple to put together so I will list my supplies without giving you all of the steps. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them for you though.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: PinkFresh Studio Modern Layered Florals, Pink & Main Plaid 3
Dies: PinkFresh Studio Modern Layered Floral
Ink: Gina K Designs Lucky Clover and Red Hot, Altenew Snapdragon and Parrot
Other: Vellum from Papertrey Ink, Trinity Stamps Clear Sequins, Ranger White Embossing Powder

I am also linking up my card to The Card Concept Challenge. I used their photo for my inspiration.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you will play along with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge or join me in participating in The Card Concept!!

Enjoy your day,

  2. Love how the florals pop against the neutral plaid! I also love the way vellum softens the look without covering it up much! Way to rock the colors!
