New Release Countdown: Day 2

Hi friends and welcome back to day 2 of the new release countdown for Papertrey Ink. Today is packed full of some amazing new products. As always, you can find all of the new product information on the PTI Blog. 

My first card uses the new Into the Blooms Dahlia die set to make my floral images and the foliage. I die cut the pieces from Bristol smooth cardstock and used Distress Oxide ink in Candied Apple and Pine Needles to add ink to the die cut images. I love the size of these dies, so pretty and easy to use too!

For my sentiment I used the new To Die For Sentiment: All is Bright die. I die cut the sentiment from black cardstock 3 times and stacked the dies for added dimension and stability. Next, I attached my die cuts to a white oval before attaching everything to a piece of true black patterned paper.

Lastly, I added a black frame that had been die cut with the Stitched Frame die and a few clear sequins as a final touch.

My next card uses the new Holiday Wagon set. This is such a fun set and I love all of the details and images that are included. 

Once I was finished stamping I used the Seeing Stars stencils to make my card panel. I then used the Simply Stitched A2 Vertical dies to die cut my panels before assembling my card. Lastly, I tied a little baker's twine across the top of my top folding A2 card base.
