The Greetery
Hello and Happy Friday! Today I am on The Greetery's Blog for TGIF! I am sharing two birthday cards that use a few of the sets from the latest release.
For my first card I used the Floral Arches stencil and stamp set. I started my card by using the stencils and creating my design directly on my card panel. Next, I used the coordinating stamp set to add the details to the florals and greenery. The detail is amazing on this set, it brings everything together and creates the most beautiful floral frame.
Next, I used the Floral Arches stamps and dies to stamp the red flowers on my panel. I wanted the flowers to have a little dimension, though this step is definitely optional. For my sentiment, I used the Arched Sentiments set. These sets coordinate perfectly together! Lastly, I used the Honey Jar set to add a few bees to my card.
During the release I used this set to make a wedding card and the color were softer and muted. I couldn't wait to use the set again and create a fun summer themed birthday card. I love how by just changing the colors you can get a completely different look with this set.
For my next card I used the Sketched Wildflower set. I stamped my floral bouquet in black ink and used the coordinating stencils to add color to the florals and foliage. So quick and easy, and I love how you have a beautiful bouquet without a lot of work.
Next, I used the Square Dance die to create my card panel. I ran the die through my machine two times, and then offset the panels so you see a little bit of the blue from behind. Using the same blue cardstock I created a frame with the A2 Arches dies. I placed the frame directly onto the panel and then added my bouquet and a few bees with foam adhesive to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
Enjoy your day,
