A Song of Christmas

Hi friends and welcome to day one of the New Release for The Greetery!! The new release is called, A Song of Christmas and it is packed full of the most beautiful products for all of your holiday crafting!! There are so many amazing new products and things to love. I can't wait to share everything with you. We will be having three days of sneak peeks and then the new release will be available on Friday, October 7th at 10am EST. I have four cards to share today, so let's get started.

For my first two card I am using the new Peaceful Olive stamp and stencil set. This set includes four stencils that layer together to create a beautiful card panel. Once I stenciled my panel I used the stamp set to add the branch detail and also for the sentiment. The sentiment fits perfectly between the branches for a seamless design.

Next, I used the Peaceful Olive Full Panel die to die cut my card panel. This die cuts around all of the branches, though also keeps them connected. There is also a Peaceful Olive die that cuts out an individual branch. I then attached my die cut panel to a white card base with foam adhesive to give it some dimension.

To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment directly onto the card base and added a few gold paint splatters. 

For my first card I used more a more muted color palette (Pigment Craft Co ink) and kept my colors soft. For my second card I used a more traditional Christmas color palette. Although I created both cards exactly the same, I love how by just changing the colors you can achieve a very different look. Do you have a favorite?

For my next card, I used the new Peaceful Dove set along with the Pine & Berry Set. 

I started my card by using the Peaceful Doves die and stamp set. The dies cut out the individual doves and the coordinating stamp set adds the perfect amount of detail and shading. 

Next, I used the Pine & Berry set. This set includes stamp and dies to create beautiful winter foliage and greenery. I stamped the images in a variety of green ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. 

I ink blended my card panel with Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg. I stamped my sentiment directly onto the panel with VersaMark ink and added gold embossing powder. Once my images were attached I splattered my panel with a little gold and white paint as a finishing touch. 

My final card today uses the Heaven & Nature Sing stamp, stencil and die set. 

I began my card by stenciling the leaves and flowers onto the Heaven & Nature Sign treble clef base die. The stencils include etched lines to aid in the alignment and positioning, so easy to use. Next, I used the coordinating stamp set to stamp the foliage detail onto the die cut. I then die cut a red glittered treble clef and attached it to the base. 

To finish my card I stamped my sentiment directly onto my card panel. I then added a few floral clusters to accent the sentiment. (All part of the Heaven & Nature Sing set) Lastly, I added a few clear sequins as a final detail.
