Pretty Pink Posh

Hi there! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! We got home from Costa Rica in the middle of the night on Saturday/Sunday morning and spent yesterday unpacking, grocery shopping, laundry, etc. We had an amazing vacation but always nice to get back home too. Ric had an insurance meeting for a few of the days and other than that we just relaxed and enjoyed some time away.

I realized I needed a Mother's Day card, so that is what I am sharing today though this same card will work for lots of different occasions. I started my card by using the Spring Foliage dies. I die cut the flowers and leaves in a variety of colors and set them aside.

Next, I used the Spring Jar set to stamp and die cut the mason jar. I added a little aqua ink for some shading and attached it to a card panel that I ink blended with a soft pink ink. I then built my bouquet with the Spring Foliage dies to fill the jar. I used the Mom shadow die for my sentiment along with the Mom stamp set. I added a white frame that I die cut with the Fancy Cake die, and added a few Valentine Mix sequins to finish my card.

I added extra flowers that I die cut with the Spring Foliage dies so I decided to make a "bonus" card...

I used the Spring Frame die to create my floral frame. I then attached it  to a card panel that I ink blended with aqua ink. Next, I attached the florals to the frame with foam adhesive and liquid glue.

Lastly, I used the Birthday Scripts set for my sentiment. Since the flowers were already die cut this was a quick and easy card to put together.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.

Enjoy your day,
