Waffle Flower: Postage Collection

Hi friends! Today I am on The Foiled Fox Blog sharing a few cards that use the die, stencils and stamp set from the Postage Collage Collection from Waffle Flower Crafts. I fell in love with these products when they were released and couldn't wait to create with them!

I began my cards by die cutting the card panels with the Postage Collage die. This is a basic die that serves as the base for the coordinating stencils, though it can be used on its own too. It is the perfect background for stamping, stenciling and so much more! I love that the "stamps" can easily be trimmed apart to give you even more options.

For my first card, I used the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil set to add color and designs to each of the "stamps". I chose to use a rainbow of colors (Papertrey Ink: Lilac Grace, Hawaiian Shore, Green Parakeet, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise and Hibiscus Burst) though the color possibilities are endless. Next, I used the Postage Collage stamp set to add the post mark details to the panel. Lastly, I stamped the First Class Mail strip with VersaMark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder for a little added detail.

My next card uses the Postage Collage Everyday stencil set to create the designs on the Postage Collage die. This is a set of three stencils that layer together to create fun everyday images. For this card I used Concord & 9th ink and cardstock (Poppy, Lemon Grass, Avocado, Clementine, Buttercup, Harbor, Blueberry and Wheat). Once I finished the stenciling I again used the Postage Collage stamp set to add the postmark details to my card panel. Lastly, I added a few white details with a white gel pen to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today and I will be back tomorrow with a post that uses the Postage Collage Christmas stencil... my first Christmas card of the season! I hope you get a chance to join me tomorrow.

Enjoy your day,
