Concord & 9th: Empire Inlay Card Front Die

Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We are in DC for a few days... visiting our daughter and doing some wedding prep. I can't believe she will be getting marring in a few shorts months!! It is all coming together and will be here before we know it. Such an exciting time!

Today I am back on the Foiled Fox blog with a couple of cards that use Empire Inlay Card Front Die along with some of the amazing new colors that were released from Concord & 9th.

I started my cards by die cutting a white panel with the Empire Inlay Card Front die. I then used the die to die cut my pieces to inlay back into the frame to create my design. I chose a design that would showcase the new colors, though honestly there are countless possibilities with this die!

I used the new cardstock colors from Concord & 9th plus a few "older" colors to create my panel. I used Eucalyptus, Grasshopper, Nectar, Watermelon, Honeysuckle and Wildberry. The new colors are absolutely gorgeous and they coordinate perfectly with the previous released colors! You will love them!!

Once my panels were finished I used the Everyday Expressions die set for my sentiment. This set of dies includes five sentiments plus the shadow die. This is a great set of basic sentiments that will work well for so many different occasions.  I die cut the sentiments three times and stacked them for added dimension. I then mounted them onto their shadow die and attached them to my card panel with foam adhesive to finish my cards.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. What do you think of the new colors from Concord & 9th? Do you have a favorite? I am loving Eucalyptus... but honestly it's hard to pick!

Enjoy your day,
