The Greetery

Hello friends! Yesterday I was back on The Greetery's Blog with a card that uses the Print Shop: Modern Botanical set from the latest release. The Print Shop sets are some of my favorite Greetery products and the Modern Botanical set did not disappoint. I love it! For the release a made a card with more muted colors, so I thought I thought for today I would use the set again and use bright spring colors. Let's get started...

I started my card by using the Print Shop: Modern Botanical stencils to create my panel. I used dye ink and finger daubers for my blending. Once the stenciling was finished I used the Print Shop: Modern Botanical coordinating stamp set to add the detail to the florals and foliage. The stamps bring everything to life and add the perfect amount of detail.

Next, I used the Print Shop: Modern Botanical dies to die cut some of the flowers from the panel. I then attached the flower back to the panel with foam adhesive to give them some dimension. I added some white paint splatters to the panel and set it aside to dry. For the bees, I used the Honey Jar set. I think the bees are so cute and add a fun touch to the layout. Lastly, I used the All Occasion Script Sentiments set for my sentiment. Although I made a birthday card I think this same design will work great for lots of other occasions.
