Pinkfresh Studio

Hi friends! I am so excited to be a guest designer for the New Release at Pinkfresh Studio! The new release is full of amazing new products and of course gorgeous floral sets too! You are going to love this release,  everything is just beautiful and so fun to create with.

For today's post I have two card to share. Let's get started with my cards and then I will have all of the Blog Hop information down below.

I started my card by using the Playful Petals stamp set to stamp my image and sentiment. I then used the Playful Petals stencils to color the floral bouquet. The stencils make it so easy to color your florals! Once I had added my color I used the Playful Petals dies to cut out my floral cluster. I love that the dies include a separate die for the three main florals (pink). It allows you to pop the flowers up and add a little dimension.

Next, I added a few coordinating strips to my card panel and ran it through my die cutting machine with one of the Blanket Stitched Octagon dies. Lastly, I attached my floral cluster and sentiment to finish my card.

I started my next card by attaching strips of cardstock to a card panel and running it through my die cutting machine with the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die. I love the subtle detail this die creates on your card panel. Next, I again used the Playful Petals stamp set to create my florals and sentiment. I stamped the bouquet on vellum and heat set the image with white embossing powder. I then used the Playful Petals dies to cut it out. Lastly, I created a fame with two of the Blanket Stitched Octagon dies and attached everything to my card panel to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. I can't wait to see what you create with these fun new products!!

  39. Hi Dana. Your cards are beautiful. I love bright happy colors. The Playful Petals suite is so versatile. I like the layout of your first card. Placing the stripes and the flower cluster on the same angle gives your card great visual interest. Your second card is very unique. I like all the fun details. The vellum flowers combined with the black and white sentiment is a wonderful way to balance all of the beautiful colors. I look forward to seeing what you make next.

    1. Thank You Dorothy! I use Art Glitter Glue for all most all of my adhesive. It dries clear, although I do try and strategically place it where I know it won't show (the white embossed lines). The glue also has a very fine metal tip that allows for placement in small areas.
