Fall Greetings

Hi friends! I hope you all are doing well and had a wonderful weekend. We just got back from a week in the Cayman Islands. Ric had a work meeting and it lined up with our anniversary and my birthday so we decided to extend out trip for a bit and make a vacation out of it. So nice to enjoy the sunshine, beach and just to relax for a bit before the craziness of the holidays sets in.  

For my card today I am using the Big Fall Cupcake dies from Pretty Pink Posh. The seasonal cupcakes have definitely become a favorite of mine! I love how all the dies can be mixed and matched to give you so many options.

I started my card by die cutting all of my pieces with the Big Fall Cupcake dies and white cardstock. I then ink blended the pieces with soft fall colors... what do you think? I went back and forth between soft colors and more traditional darker fall colors, but the soft colors won out in the end. 

Next, I used the Layered Autumn Harvest stencil set to make my card panel. I then used Simple Strips dies to create my strips for the card panel in coordinating colors. I attached the strips to the panel and trimmed it down. I then attached my cupcake with foam adhesive to the center of the card. Lastly, I used the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set for my sentiment.
