The Greetery
Hello Friends! I am back on The Greetery's Blog today sharing a baby. My card was inspired by a needlepoint canvas that Meredith (my daughter) made for one of her friends that is having a baby. The canvas (see below) had an adorable goose on it, so I decided to pull out my Silly Goose dies and create a coordinating card that she can use.
I started my card by creating my goose and flowers with the Silly Goose dies. I ink blended the pieces and then assembled my images with a strong liquid glue. Next, I attached the goose to a peach panel that I die cut with the medium sized A2 Stitched Scallops die. I then attached the scalloped panel to a white panel that I die cut with the Patchwork die.
I then used the Regency Bow No 2 dies to die cut a large bow. I ink blended the bow with blue ink and then attached it to the top of my card with foam adhesive. Lastly, I used the Tear Strips Banners die and the Tear Strip Tags Baby stamp set for my sentiment. Once everything was assembled I attached my patchwork panel to a piece of light blue polka dot paper to finish my card.
Here is the needlepoint canvas I used for my inspiration:
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I will be back soon to share another project with you all.Enjoy your day,
Dana
