Concord & 9th: Countryside

Hello Friends! Today I am back on The Foiled Fox Blog with a card that uses the gorgeous Countryside set from Concord & 9th. This set includes stencils, a stamp set, and dies that all coordinate to create the most adorable farm scene. There are lots of pieces that can be mixed and matched to allow you lots of different options. I created a "fall" inspired farmyard, but by changing the colors and leaving off the pumpkins you can create a card that can be used throughout the year. 


I started my card by using the Countryside stencil pack to create my card panel. I used Concord & 9th ink and blending brushes for all of my ink blending. 

  • Stencil 1: Wheat, Cranberry
  • Stencil 2: Pistachio, Mushroom
  • Stencil 3: Poppy
  • Stencil 4: Avocado
  • Stencil 5: Mushroom, Sea Glass

Next, I used the Countryside stamp set to add detail to my ink blended card panel. There are lots of little stamps included in this set so you can add as much or as little detail as you prefer. I again used Concord & 9th ink for my stamping.

  • Barn: Poppy
  • Weathervane, Fence: Espresso
  • Stones on path: Wheat
  • Grass: Avocado
  • Sentiment: Black

For all the fun little details I used the Countryside dies. I used Concord & 9th cardstock for all of my die cutting. I also added ink to the edges of some of my die cuts for some added detail and dimension. Again, there are lots of small dies included in the set and you can pick and choose what to use to create your scene. 
  • Bushes: Avocado
  • Tree: Spiced Cider, Cayenne, Hazelnut
  • Fence: Peanut
  • Cornstalks: Stardust, Sunflower
  • Pumpkins: Peanut, Clementine
  • Flowers: Sorbet, Grapefruit
  • Door and Windows: Mushroom 
  • Sheep: Black, White
Lastly, I trimmed my panel down and attached it to an A2 cream card base to finish my card.
