Ink To Paper

New Release Countdown: Day 1

January 16, 2020

Good morning friends and welcome to day 1 of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. You are going to love all of the new products this month! I can't wait to share everything I have been creating with all of the new products. You can find all of today's product information on the Ink To Paper Blog. Let's get started...

For my first card I am using the new Sprigs & Sprays Stamp and Die Set. This is a wonderful set of florals and foliage that coordinate perfectly with the previously release Branches Of Love Set and the Abundant Blooms Set

For my frame I am using the new Antique Wishes Set. This set includes a solid frame stamp, detail images for the frame and a coordinating die that also emboss the detail on the frame. I die cut the frame, ink blended a soft blue ink over the die cut and then stamped the detail. Such a pretty set and definitely one that I will reach for often.

To finish my card I cute a small panel to cover the opening in my frame. I ink blended a soft yellow ink onto the rectangle and stamped my sentiment at the bottom. The sentiment is from the Branches of Love Set. Next, I attached my florals and vase to my card with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few sequins as a final touch.

For my next card, I am using the new Cake Please Stamp and Die Set. This set is amazing! So many little details are included and I can't wait to use it again. I started my card my stamping my images in green, pinks and yellows. I think I am hoping for spring...

For my frame I used the Border Bling: Skinny Heart Frame Die. I die cut the frame from white cardstock and ink blended it with a little Green Parakeet ink. For my inside panel, I used my reinkers and added a few splatters in coordinating colors. Lastly, I attached my cake to my panel with foam adhesive.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you liked my cards and I will be back tomorrow with day 2 of the release. Remember the new release will be available on January 20th!

Enjoy your day,

  1. These are beautiful, Dana! I love what you did with the antique wishes frame die! Is that regular card stock or watercolor paper? I think I may have to add that to my collection!

    1. Thank you so much Melanie! Yes, it is regular white PTI cardstock and I added dye ink with a blending brush. I think you will love the stamp and die set... I had to stop myself from using it on every card for the release :) I hope that helps. Enjoy your weekend.
