Hearts & Roses

Good Morning Friends! A few days ago I was sent a few things from the latest release at Waffle Flower called Heart & Roses. It is full of all things love (perfect for Valentine's Day and lots of other occasions too), plus birthday and a lot of must have basics. 

For my card today, I started by creating my background. I used the Heart Blooms Stencil Trio to create my card panel. This is a set of three stencils that layer together to create an amazing background. It is super easy to line up and the color combinations are endless. I used PinkFresh ink in Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine and Papertrey Ink ink in Pure Poppy for my color choices.

For my sentiment, I used the must have set Oversized Heart Combo Set. I love the size and font of this set! I ink blended the top layer with Pure Poppy ink and stacked it onto a few heart die cuts from gray cardstock to create a shadow. Next, I mounted my sentiment onto a vellum heart that had been die cut with the Scalloped Hearts Die. Lastly, I attached everything to an A2 card base.
