Ink To Paper

New Release: Countdown Day 1

March 16, 2021

Hi friends! It is day 1 of the new release countdown for Ink To Paper. This month is full of so many wonderful new products! I can't wait to share everything with you. We will be sharing sneak peeks of the new release over the next four day. The new release will be available on March 20th at 10:00 PM EST in the Ink To Paper/Papertrey Ink online shop. Remember to also check the blog for all the new release and product information.

For my first card today I am using the new Prominent Petals Stamp and Die Set. This set creates the most beautiful whimsical flowers, I just love them! I stamped my blooms in shades of purple and my leaves and stems in shades of green. So easy to use and line up.

Look at the detail on this frame!! It is the new Border Bling: Dainty Deliveries Frame Die (there is also a coordinating gift box that you will see in a few days)! I am in love with this frame, it's gorgeous! It has a lot of detail so you will want to make sure you use a shim to get a nice clean cut. I ended up using my Gemini electronic die cutting machine and got a clean cut on my first pass through.

I attached my frame to my card panel with liquid glue. I then cut a rectangle, ink blended it with Blueberry Sky ink and attached it over the opening. Next, I attached my flowers and sentiment with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a few sequins as a final touch.

For my next card I am using the new Flying By Stamp and Die Set.

Don't you just love this butterfly? The size is amazing and I love the unique design. I started by die cutting the butterfly first. I then used my MISTI to line up the stamps with the negative die cut. Once the outline was stamped it was fairly easy to line up all of the inside pieces. There are so many fun color combinations and techniques you can do with this set.

For my card panel I used the new Love To Layer: Torn Edges Die Set. This is a four piece die set that creates a great basic panel and you can also layer two of the dies together and create a frame. I used a stencil and added clouds to my panel. I then added a few white paint splatters to my butterfly before attaching it to my card. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins.

Thanks for joining me today. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will reply as soon as I can. I will be back tomorrow with day 2 of the countdown... think school, teacher and graduation!

Enjoy your day,
