Papertrey Ink

New Release Countdown: Day 4

Welcome back to day 4 of the new release countdown for Papertrey Ink. All of the new release products will be available tomorrow night (October 25th) at 10:00 pm EST. You can find all of the new release details on the Papertrey Ink Blog!!

My first card uses the new O, Holy Night set. This set includes three gorgeous evergreen trees that are such a fun size. I stamped them in soft pastel colors and decided to make a mini slimline card that measures 3.25 x 6.25.

I had originally stamped all three trees and then decided that two worked best on my card layout.

For my background I ink blended Aqua Mist ink onto my card panel. I then splattered the background and trees with a little white acrylic paint to give everything a snowy look.

Next, I used the Grand Christmas Sentiments set to create my Joy sentiment. Lastly, I added a few Moonshine Sequins to give my card a little extra holiday sparkle.

For my next card I created a clean and simple card. I used the new To Die For Sentiments: Happy Hanukkah die and let the die be the focus. I ran it through my die cutting machine with gold glittered cardstock for some extra sparkle.

For my card panel, I cut strips of Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, Enchanted Evening and Dark Indigo cardstock. I attached them to a rectangle and then backed the panel with a piece the same piece of gold glittered cardstock that I used for the sentiment.

This card was so easy to make, but I think the clean and simple design works well with the die and let's the sentiment be the focus.

My next card uses the new The Greatest Gift set. This is another gorgeous set with so many possibilities. I absolutely love the sentiments included in this set and I know they're ones that I will reach for often.

I did all of my stamping on the die cuts, though I think this set will be so pretty embossed as a silhouette. I can't wait to give that a try on some dark cardstock.

Such a beautiful card to create and I love how it conveys the true meaning of Christmas in such a simple way.

Thanks for joining me for the release countdown. I hope you have enjoyed my projects. It's such a fun release with so many amazing new products. Do you have a favorite? I would love to hear. Also, if you have any questions about the new products just leave me a question in the comments and I will get back to you.
