Papertrey Ink

New Release Countdown

Hi friends! I have been busy creating with the new release coming to Papertrey Ink on Tuesday, November 23 at 10:00 pm EST. It is packed full of so many amazing new products. There was a manufacturing delay and then I was out of town for the past week; so I just go home and created what I could in the short amount of time that I had. I have three projects to share today but I will have lots of other things to share over the next week or so.

My first card uses the fun new Joyful Snowman and Corner It: Festive Holiday sets. Don't you just love this snowman? He is so fun and easy to create!! I think he will make adorable Christmas tags too.

I created my snowman with the stamps and dies included in the Joyful Snowman set. I love all of the accessories and options that are included. Once I finished my snowman I mounted him on a card panel that had been ink blended with Blueberry Sky ink. I then used the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die to create a frame around my card panel.

To finish my card I used the Corner It: Festive Holiday set to create my florals, foliage and Christmas images for the corners of my card. This set adds just the perfect "extra" touch to make a card feel special. I know it is a set that I will be using often.

My next card uses the new Into The Blooms: Peonies die set. I ink blended my florals with Pure Poppy and my leaves with Simply Chartreuse ink. I then added glitter to the pieces and assembled my flowers.

For my card panel, I used Weathervane cardstock and then Border Bling: Tin Stitch die along the with Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die. I attached my florals to the bottom of the panel and then splattered my card with a little white paint.

For my sentiment, I used the new Just Sentiments: Heaven and Nature Sing stamp set. I stamped it onto a die from the It's A Sign: Hanging Stitched Frames die. I then tucked it the sentiment behind my flowers to finish my card.

Lastly, I used the Into The Blooms: Peony dies to create two Christmas tags. I used cardstock for the florals which made the assembly very quick. I cut the flowers from Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist paper and used the vellum and Green Parakeet for the leaves.

I mounted the flowers on a tag that had been die cut with the Tag Sale: Quilted die. Next, I used the new Small Dimensional Bow die set to create the bows for the top of my tags. This is such a fun set of dies. It comes in both large and small and there are so many options for assembly. I know it is a set I will be using often.

That is all for today. Thanks for joining me and I hoped you enjoyed my cards. Please feel free to ask any questions or leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Make sure you stop by the PTI blog because the other design team members have some amazing projects to share!

Enjoy your day,
