Concord & 9th: Birthday Scoops

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I am back today with another birthday card that uses a few new sets from Concord & 9th. 

 

I started my card by stamping my sentiment with the Birthday Scoops stamp set. This is a two piece stamp set that is really easy to layer. I decided to do a little masking and stamp my sentiment with four colors. There are so many fun combinations and options for this set. Next, I stamped my ice cream and cone and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. 

For my card panel I used the Celebrations Turnabout stamp set. I trimmed the panel down and mounted it onto a Bright Buttercup mat before attaching everything to an A2 card base. Lastly, I added a little glitter to my ice cream and used a white gel pen to add a few highlights to my sentiment.
