Papertrey Ink

New Release Countdown: Day 2

Welcome back to the second day of the countdown for Papertrey Ink. Today we are using a fun new set called, Frame Decor along with the new Feathered Friends stamp and die set. You can find all of the product information on the PTI blog or please feel free to any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I have three cards to share so let's get started...

My first card uses the new Frame Decor set. I used colored cardstock (Kraft, New Leaf, Green Parakeet, Enchanted Evening and Saffron Spice) and did tone on tone stamping for everything except the frame.

For my card panel I used the Border Bling: Tin Stitch die. I think I use this die every release... Once I trimmed down my panel I attached my frame to the center with foam adhesive. I then stamped my sentiment onto the inside piece and inlaid it back into the frame. Lastly, I attached all of my stamped images to finish my card.

For my next card I die cut my wreath and accessories in white cardstock and then used the coordinating stamps to do all of my stamping. For my frame I stamped the detail onto a piece of Soft Stone cardstock. I then ink blended the inside piece with Hawaiian Shores ink and laid a piece of vellum over the top to create a softer look.

For my card panel I used a brick stencil that I had in my stash. I then stamped my sentiment directly onto my card panel. Once I had my frame and wreath attached I added a few clear sequins as a final touch.

This is such a versatile set with so many possibilities. I especially love the frame and know it is a stamp set I will use often.

For my next card I used the new Feathered Friends 19 stamp and die set. I stamped the bird in soft aquas, greens and grays and used the coordinating die to cut it out. This bird has a lot of detail and it's so pretty once you finish stamping it.

Next, I used the new Into the Blooms: Roses set (previewed yesterday) to create my flowers. I used Sweet Blush and Soft Stone ink for all of my blending.

For my card panel I used the Border Bling: Postage die. I then used the Nesting Basics: Oval die to create my center piece. I stamped my sentiment from the new Inside Greeting: With Sympathy directly onto the oval and then attached it to my card panel. Lastly, I attached my roses to the card and tucked my bird into the flowers.

Thanks for joining me today. I will be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,
