Concord & 9th: Pinwheel Quilt Top Dies
Hi friends! Today I am on the Foiled Fox Blog sharing a card that uses the Pinwheel Quilt Top Dies from Concord & 9th. This is a set of dies that includes a large plate to create a card front, two dies that create multiple stitched mini triangles and a stitched square too. The design possibilities are endless!
I started my card by running the large cover plate through my die cutting machine with a piece of white cardstock. I then used the smaller triangle dies to cut my smaller pieces. I used Harvest Gold, Limeade Ice, New Leaf and Aqua Mist cardstock for my triangles. Once they were cut out I attached them to my panel with liquid glue. The panel also serves as a guide to help you keep everything lined up.
For my sentiment, I used the Sew Lovely die set. I die cut the word hello from white cardstock two times and stacked them together for some added dimension and stability. Next, I added a black layer behind the white die cuts to create a subtle shadow and to help the sentiment stand out. Lastly, I attached my sentiment to the card panel to finish my card.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you give these dies a try, I know you will love them. They are so fun to use! I can't wait to create some more background in some different colors!
Enjoy your day,
