New Release Countdown: Day 1

It's time for the New Release Countdown at Papertrey Ink! This month there are some fun new products! I can't wait to share all of my projects with you all over the next few days. Today we are using an amazing set of products for the end of the school year, teacher appreciation gifts and so much more!!

This set of dies is called the Go To Gift Card Holder: Book. The dies create the most adorable book that can be used the hold a few card holder and so much more. There are also lots of add on dies that can be added to the basic set of dies to give you so many more options. You can add more pages, other pockets, and there is even a bookmark die available with the product suite. So much fun!

For my cover, I used the coordinating stamp set, Go To Gift Card Holder: Book that has fun images, quotes and sentiments perfect for the school theme. I also added the scissors from the Treasured Teacher set. I love how these sets can be used together to give you so many options.

This set is so fun to use for a teacher thank you gift but I also can't wait to use it for other holidays too! I think it will make a darling gift card holder for Christmas and so much more. I can just imagine creating "little books" for all kinds of fun occasions.

My next card uses the new Feathered Friends 22 stamp and die set. This month the bird is so pretty with its long tail! There is also a branch and a few small flowers that you can add to create your scene. The branch is a great size and design and will come in so handy for all the other birds in the series too.

For my card panel, I used the new Elegant Edges: Leaves die. I mounted it on a card panel that had been ink blended with green parakeet ink and added a strip of patterned paper across the top. For my sentiment I used the new Just Sentiments: Everyday stamp set. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today and I will be back tomorrow with day 2 of the countdown.

Enjoy your day,

  1. Two more wonderful cards, Dana! Even though I don’t need Teacher gifts, I know they’re very popular. The colorful bird looks so poised on that cool branch.
