The Greetery

Happy Friday! I made these cards awhile back, and thought I would share with you all today.

I started both of my cards by using A Side of Green Die. I ran the die through my die cutting machine with the Metal Adapter Plate two times to create my frame. I then ink blended the borders with a soft green dye ink. Next, I attached the leafy border to a card panel that had been lightly ink blended with a soft aqua ink.

For my flowers, I used the sweet little dies from the BotanicCuts Wildflower Mix Die. I once again used a light hand and dye ink in spring colors. Once the flowers were attached to the leafy frame I splattered my card panels with a little water and white acrylic paint and set them aside to dry.

On my first card, I used the Opposites Attract set for the sentiment. I love how this sentiment includes dies for both the main bold sentiment and the coordinating script sentiment too. I die cut and stacked my sentiments three times to give them a little extra dimension before attaching them to my card panel. On my second card, I used the All Kinds of Happy set for my sentiment.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards.

Enjoy your day,
