Sweet & Sunny Collection
Hi friends and welcome back to day 2 of the new product introductions for The Greetery. Today we are using some amazing new stencil and die combo sets and a new BotaniCuts die. You can find all of the new product information on the The Greetery Blog. I have three cards to share today so let's get started...
My first card uses the new BotaniCuts Hollyhock die set. I used the dies to create two stems. I used a blending brush and ink to add color to each petal and then I followed the guide to assemble the flowers. The florals are grouped together so it makes it very easy to assemble. Once my stems were finished I attached them to my card panel that was die cut with the Crimped Frame die.
For my sentiment, I used the Opposites Attract set for the word happy. I then used the new Buzz-Worthy sentiments set for the word Bee.
Lastly, I stamped and die cut a few bees from the Honey Jar set to finish my card.
My next card uses the new Leaves All Around stencil and die set. I am in love with this set! I think the leafy frame and little berries are just so pretty. I know this is a set I will be using often.
Next, I used the Jumbo Curiosity: Dragonfly die and stencil set to create my dragonfly. This is actually an enlarged version of the dragonfly dies from the Curio: Summer set. I love that these sets include stencils. The matching stencils make it so easy to add color to the die cuts. So fun!
Lastly, I used the Curio Labels set and the PreText Banner dies for my sentiment.
My last card uses the new Jumbo Curiosity: Butterfly die and stencil set. This set is similar to the dragonfly set I used above, in that there is a die and coordinating stencils. (There is also a moth being released.) I die cut the butterfly three times and used the coordinating stencil to add color to each butterfly. I then cut the bodies out of gold cardstock, though there is a coordinating stencil available. I then attached the butterflies to a mini slime card panel. Lastly, I once again used the Curio Label set for my sentiment. Such a quick and easy card to create.
