Pretty Pink Posh

New Release Blog Hop

Hi friends and welcome to the new release blog hop for Pretty Pink Posh! We are on day three of the hop and it has been so much fun to see what everyone has created!! I hope you love the release as much as I do, I can't wait to share all of my projects with you all.

I created two cards for today's post, so let's get started. I began my cards by die cutting the candy pieces with the Candy Treats die set. I used a variety of "Halloween" colors and combined the different die cuts to build my candies. So fun to use!! I think these dies will work great for Valentine's Day too.

For my first card, I attached the candy pieces in a random pattern to a piece of black cardstock. I then trimmed the panel down and attached it to an A2 card base. Next, I used the Ghost Friends set to stamp my ghost and sentiment. I used the coordinating Ghost Friends dies to cut them out and attached them to the top of my card with foam adhesive.

So fun! I love the candy background and the little ghost is so cute with his little pumpkin basket ready to collect his treats!

For my next card I began by making my card panel. I ink blended Distress Oxide ink in Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet onto a panel and ran it through my die cutting machine with the new Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. Next, I added a black cauldron that I created with the new Cauldron Shaker die. I filled the cauldron with Candy Treats and added another ghost from the Ghost Friends set. Lastly, I used the Halloween Envelopes set for my sentiment.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. Now for the Blog Hop details:
