Hello Friends and Happy September! Most kids are already back to school and I thought I would share a card that would be perfect to tuck into a lunchbox or slip into a backpack. When my girls were little they always loved getting a little surprise note in their lunchbox. While there are lots of "school themed" products available I think it is nice when we can stretch our supplies and use them for more than one occasion. So for my card today I am using the Layered Dinosaurs stencil pack from Pretty Pink Posh.
I started my card by creating my card panel with the Dinosaur Layered stencils. I used a mixture of distress oxide and dye ink and finger daubers to apply the different colors of ink. Next, I used the stencil set again and applied ink to a die cut circle to highlight one dinosaur. I think this is a great way to make a focal image even if you don't have the coordinating stamp set. Lastly, I used the Simple Sentiments set to stamp my sentiment. Although I made a missing you type card today, I think this same design will work well for so many different occasions.
