The Greetery
Calico Fields Collection
Hi friends and welcome back to day two of the new product introductions for The Greetery. Today we are using some amazing new products that I know you will love. I am still in awe of what Betsy's creates. Her products are like no other, every little detail is planned and designed to perfection. I can't wait to show you what I created for today. Remember, you can find all of the new product information on The Greetery's Blog.
My first card uses the new Time For Gratitude stamp and stencil set. This set coordinates with the previous released Hourglass dies. I started my card by using the Time For Gratitude stencil (it's included with the stamp set) and ink blended the small flowers onto my hourglass. Next, I used the coordinating stamp to add my sentiment and all of the details. There is also a Time For Gratitude coordinating die that can be used for dimension or to add layers.
For my card panel, I used the stencils from Print Shop: Calico set to create my background. Just using the stencils, and not the background stamp, creates a fun pattern and allows you to keep your background white.
To finish my card, I used the Hourglass Insert die to die cut the inside piece for hourglass. I then used the dies again to create a frame for the hourglass. I ink blend the frame in a soft pink ink and attached it to my panel. Lastly, I used the Hourglass Frame die and gold glittered cardstock to create my final frame and finish my card.
My next card uses the amazing StencilScape Autumn stencil pack and the coordinating Thankful Heart stamp and die set. The StencilScape Autumn stencil pack is a set of eight stencils that layer and build together to create the most amazing fall scene. I absolutely love it!! It so easy to use and the stencils make it really quick to add color and build the scene.
Isn't the panel just so fun? I love how you can leave it flat or you can use the coordinating Thankful Heart set to add dimension. I stamped my images in the same colors as my panel. I then stamped my sentiment and used the coordinating stencil to add color to the letters. *The sentiment stencil is included with the stamp set.
To finish my card I attached my stamped images with liquid glue and foam adhesive in places to give the images some dimension.
I began my next card by die cutting my panel with the Rolling Hills die. I then used the Rolling Hills stencils set to add ink to the hills. The die cut has little slits in the panel so you can tuck the trees and little farmhouses into the openings if you choose. The slits also make it very easy to line up the stencils and keep everything straight.
Next, I used the Rolling Hills Tree Details die along with the Countryside die set to create my scene. These dies coordinating perfectly with the Rolling Hills products but also work great on their own. Lastly, I once again used the Thankful Heart stamp and stencil to create my sentiment. I love how everything coordinates and can be used together.
