The Greetery

A Song of Christmas

Hi friends! Today we are sharing the third and final day of the new product introductions for The Greetery. All of the new products will be available tomorrow, Friday, October 7th at 10am EDT!! So get your shopping lists ready, I know this release will be popular!!

My first card today uses the new Cooking Up Christmas set. This is stencil, stamp and die set that was inspired by all of those fun illustrated recipes you may have been seeing around. The set includes three stencil that are laid out so you can create the design like I did, but you can also stencil onto the diecuts to make your own layout as well.

Here you can see the card panel on the left and the stencil and die cuts on the right. Although the card panel is fun on its own, I decided to use the die cuts to give my card some dimension.

What do you think? I am in love with this set!! I know it is a set I will be using often!! I hope Betsy designs some of other similar sets... maybe a birthday cake recipe card?

My next two card use the new StencilScapes Winter set of stencils. This is a six pack of stencils that are similar to the StencilScape Autumn set that was released last month. By layering the stencil together you create a beautiful winter scene. So fun and easy!!

For my first card, I layered the Frosty Pines dies over the trees to give my trees a little dimension. This step isn't necessary though I do like the aded detail. Lastly, I used the Opposites Attract Holiday set for my sentiment.

I created my next scene the same as above though this time I used a little bit more muted colors. These colors remind me of a vintage postcard.

Once I finished my scene I framed my card panel with the Frosted Frame die. I then used the Arched Holiday Sentiment set for my sentiment. Lastly, I splattered both my card panels with a little white paint to resemble snow.

Next, I am using the Figgy Pudding Box die to create adorable treat boxes! They're so fun and easy to create! They are the perfect size to hold small trinkets or candy. I can wait to add them to my place settings for our Christmas dinner!

There is a holly and berry die included in the die set that can be used to decorate the top of your boxes. There is also a Figgy Pudding Bow Topper die and Holly Toppers that can be added to your boxes. Betsy will have a video up on her blog to show the assembly of the boxes but they are really easy to create!

Lastly, I used the Christmas Pudding die set to create a few tags. This die is a stand alone die set that can be used to create a sweet image for a card or you can use it like I did to create some Christmas tags.

That is all for today. Thanks again for joining me. Make sure you visit The Greetery's Blog to read all of the new release details and to see Betsy's beautiful projects!!
