Spring Fling Collection

Hello Friends! There is a New Release coming to The Greetery on Thursday, February 29th at 10am EDT!! The new release is packed full of amazing products for all of your spring and Easter crafting! It will definitely leave you dreaming about everything to do with spring. I have three cards to share today so let's get started.

My first card uses the new BotaniCuts Lilacs die set to make my floral sprigs. I die cut the pieces from white cardstock and used a variety of purple inks to color the blooms. Next, I used green ink to add color to the stems and leaves. Once my lilacs were assembled I used a thin purple marker to add a dot to each of the floral centers.

I ink blended my card panel with a soft lilac ink (Concord & 9th) and then used the Crimped Frame die to create my mat. I used the lilac reinker to add a few splatters to my panel and set it aside to dry. I then used the large Market Basket die to create my basket. I added a piece of vellum and patterned paper behind the basket for a little added detail. 

To finish my card, I tucked the lilac sprigs into my basket and attached it to my card panel with from adhesive. I then used the All Occassion Script Sentiment set for my sentiment. Lastly, I added a leave and a few blossoms to the bottom left corner of my card to finish it off.

My next card uses the Spring Snowdrops set. This is a stamp and stencil set along with coordinating dies. I started my card by die cutting the Spring Snowdrops sprig first. I have found if I die cut first it is easier to line everything up by using the negative (from the die cut) in my Misti and to stencil. I used Concord & 9th ink for the greens and Pigment Craft Co ink for the blues.

I ink blended my card panel with Jade ink (Pigment Craft Co) and again used the reinker to add a few splatters. Next, I used the Frosted Frame die to create my frame. I attached the frame and Spring Snowdrops sprig to my panel with foam adhesive for a little added dimension. 

I used the Spring Snowdrops set for my sentiment. I love that there are dies included for the words Spring and Hope. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins to finish my card.

My final card today uses the new Seagrass Basket die. This is a two piece die that you weave together to make a beautiful basket. There is also a handle and a sentiment plaque (oval) included in the set. I die cut the basket from white cardstock and then added light pink ink to make a springtime basket. Next, I added a little Kraft ink to my handle and attached it to the basket with small brass brads.

I attached the basket to a card panel that I created with the Aida Cloth texture plate. I then filled my basket with florals that I created with the Forget Me Nots dies along with a few sprigs from the Wildflower Mix die set. There are so many ways to fill this basket! I love the size and shape and I know I will use it often!! Lastly, I used the All Occasion Script set to create my sentiment.
