Concord & 9th: Mix & Match Hearts

Hi friends! I am back today on The Foiled Fox Blog with a few Valentine's Day cards that use the Mix & Match Hearts set from Concord & 9th. This set includes an inlay die and stamp set that is so fun to use and creates the sweetest Valentine's Day cards.

I started my first card by using the Mix & Match Hearts inlay die to create my card panel. I die cut the panel from white cardstock and then inlaid colorful hearts back into the frame. I used Concord & 9th cardstock for all of my die cutting (White, Poppy, Sweet Pea, Butter Cup, Aqua Sky and Black).

Next, I stamped my sentiment with the Mix & Match Hearts stamp set and VersaMark ink. I then heat set my sentiment with white embossing powder. I trimmed the sentiment strip down and attached it to my card panel with foam adhesive to finish my card.

For my next card I stamped words onto four of the hearts with the Mix & Match Hearts stamp set. I attached the hearts to my card panel with foam adhesive. I then wrapped baker's twine around the panel before attaching it to an A2 card base. Such an easy (clean and simple) card to create but I love how it turned out.

My last card is another clean and simple card...

I again used the Mix & Match Hearts inlay die for my card panel. I inlaid all of the white hearts back into the frame and added one red heart with XOXO stamped on it.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards. This set has so many possibilites and it's perfect to use with your little ones too! I know they would have fun creating Valentine's for all of their friends.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
