The Greetery
Bibliophile Collection
Hi friends! There is an amazing New Release coming to The Greetery tomorrow, Thursday, January 23rd at 10am EST !! The release is packed full of fun new products for Valentine's Day, friendship, weddings, anniversaries, and so much more. You are going to love it!! I have lots to share today so let's get started...
My first card uses the must have Shelved product suite. This collection of products creates the most amazing stack of books!! I am an avid reader and this set couldn't be any more perfect, I love it!! There are sentiments for birthday, congratulations, weddings, thank you and Valentine's Day too.
I started my card by using the Shelved die to die cut the stack of books. I then used the Shelved stencil to add color to the spines of each of the books. I chose to create a rainbow of books but the color options are endless. Next, I used the Shelved stamp set and Shelved Details die set to add all of the fun details to the spine of the books. This is where you can get very creative and dress up your books in so many different ways.
Once my stack of books were finished I attached them to an A2 card base. Lastly, I added an orange bookmark that I die cut with a small die from the Have a Spine: Short Story die set to the yellow book to finish my card.
My next card used the previous released Have a Spine die set to make my card panel. Once my book was die cut I used the Bookish Frames: Romance Edition stamp and dies to create the focal image for the center of the book.
I also added a yellow frame that I die cut from the Romantic Corners die set to the cover of my book. For the spine of the book, I used the Shelved stamp and detail die set. I love how all of these products can be combined to give you so many options. Once my book was finished I used the Have a Spine: Lock & Key to add the adorable little lock to the side of my book. This little detail is so sweet and truly adds the perfect touch to your book!
I loved these dies at Christmas and I am so glad Betsy has added an add-on set so we can use them throughout the year!!
Next, I used the Have a Spine: Short Story die to create two tags to tie onto some treats for Valentine's Day.
I used the Have a Spine: Short Story dies to create the base of my mini books. I then used the Romantic Corners die set to create the frame and heart for the cover of my books. Lastly, I used the Have a Spine: Lock & Key dies to create the locks for the sides of my books.
My next card uses the Folk Heart stamp and die set to create a baby card. I started my card by stamping my images with the Folk Heart stamp set. I kept my design fairly simple, though this set includes so many fun stamps and dies to create lots of different folk art designs. All the stamps have a mirror image so it's easy to keep everything symmetrical too.
Once my stamping was finished I attached my wreath and small floral images to a card base I ink blended with a soft pink ink. Lastly, I used the Folk Heart Sentiments stamp and die set for my sentiment and bow.
For my last card today I created a Valentine's Day card to share with you all. I started my card by using one of the Nordic Frame dies to create my card panel. I ink blended a little pink and red ink at the bottom right corner and added a few paint splatters for some added detail.
Next, I used the Nordic Hearts and Cupid's Arrow dies to die cut my images. I attached the images in a cluster and the bottom of my card and then used the Folk Heart Sentiments set for my sentiment.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my cards and tags. All of the new products will be available tomorrow, January 23rd at 10am EST! Make sure to stop by The Greetery's Blog to see all of Betsy's beautiful projects along with all of the details for each of the new release products.
