Echo Park Paper Co: Skating Bear

November 16, 2018

Hello Friends and Welcome back!! Can you believe it is Friday again? I am on the Drive By Crafts Blog sharing this festive Christmas card and tag using the Echo Park Paper Co: Skating Bear Die Set.

I began my card by using the Echo Park Paper Co: Skating Bear Die Set. I die cut and assembled all the pieces to make my darling bear. I stuck with a traditional color palette of red and green. Once I had my bear assembled, I sat him aside and began working on all my layers. I used the Reverse Confetti: Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts for my first layer and mounted this onto a piece of red cardstock. Next, I took another piece of white cardstock and made score lines at every 1/2 inch for some added detail. Then, I mounted this onto a piece of green cardstock before mounting it onto my white A2 card base. For my sentiment, I used the Lawn Fawn: Winter Scripty Sentiments Stamp Set. This is a great stamp set with lots of wonderful sentiments, perfect for the winter season!! To finish my card I tied a piece of baker's twine across the top.

I Love wrapping Christmas gifts!! I spend a lot of time picking out my paper and ribbon, and creating coordinating tags. Well...I think I found my favorite for this Christmas season!! White paper, with a red or green ribbon and my cute little skating bear for a tag!! What do you think?

This will be my last post for the Drive By Crafts blog and store as Annette (the owner) has decided to close up her shop as of today. I can't thank Annette enough for the opportunity she gave me. I started my blog because Annette offered me a chance to be on her Design Team. She guided me and helped me learn the ins and outs of creating a blog and the basics behind a blog post. I will be forever grateful for the help, trust and friendship I gained through this opportunity. Annette, I wish you all the Best in this next Chapter of your life. Take care my friend!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
Enjoy your weekend,
Dana
