Sweet Holiday Wishes

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

November 25, 2018

Good Morning! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend!! Are you a Black Friday shopper? Did you find some great deals? I'm not a fan of crowds while I am trying to shop so I took advantage of a few online deals (maybe a few crafty orders for myself too). Today, we are taking our girls to the airport so they can go back to school and finish out their semester...always hard to see them go. Though it is nice knowing they will be back in a few weeks for Christmas break.

Today, I have a card and a tag for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. I used the Papertrey Ink: Sweet Holiday Wishes Stamp Set.

I loved the inspiration photo this month. Actually, I had save it on Pinterest a few years ago so I was happy to see PTI using it this month for their Blog Hop!

For my card, I started by stamping the cute cookies in Pure Poppy and Blueberry Sky ink to create a background. I added the smaller snowflake and holly to help fill in some of the space.

Once my background was stamped I used a scalloped background die to cut out my card front. For my sentiment, I used Pure Poppy ink to stamp the word Sweet. I then used clear embossing powder to give it a little shine. Once I had my sentiment and candy cane stamped I attached them to a piece of vellum before attaching them to my card front.

For my tag, I used the Tag Sale Quilted Die. I cut my tag from kraft cardstock. Next, I die cut the Rustic Wreath from Blueberry Sky cardstock and attached it to my tag. I then attached my sentiment and candy cane cookie to the tag with some foam adhesive. I tied some Pure Poppy ribbon to the top and attached a few jingle bells to finish it off.

I can't wait to see what everyone else creates today!!

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Papertrey Ink- Sweet Holiday Wishes
Dies: PTI- Sweet Holiday Wishes, Tag Sale Quilted, Rustic Wreath
Paper: PTI Cardstock
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, PTI Ribbon

Enjoy your day,
Dana
