Let It Snow

Honey Bee Stamps

November 23, 2018

Hello Friends and Happy Day after Thanksgiving!! I hope you all had a Wonderful holiday filled with Family, Friends, and of course lots of Good Food.  I hope each of you were able to spend some time with the people you love. We went to my mom and dad's house this year, we spent the day with lots of family and loved ones.
Are you a Black Friday Shopper? Not something we typically do...we traditionally spend the day after Thanksgiving decorating for Christmas. Definitely move from one holiday to the next this time of year!!

For my cards today, I started with the Papertrey Ink: Fairytale Christmas Snowflake Stencil. I used texture paste to create my background. I love the look of texture paste with a stencil. It adds a little dimension and interest but keeps your card flat for mailing.

Once I had my background completed I set it aside to dry. Next, I used the Lawn Fawn: Stitched Hillside Border Die to create my hill. I then stamped the Snowman and Little Bird from the Honey Bee: Let It Snow stamp set. I colored the details with Copic markers and die cut the images.

For my sentiment, I used the Christmas Die and Shadow included with the Honey Bee Stamps: Let It Snow Honey Cuts set. Once I had sentiment layered and attached to my snowbank I stamped the word MERRY. I attached everything to an A2 card base and tied some red and white baker's twine across the top to finish my cards.

I made one card out of Kraft cardstock and one card out of Soft Stone cardstock...which do your prefer? I am loving Soft Stone cardstock from Papertrey Ink this year. I need to add some to my next order!!
