Cross Stitch

May 7, 2019

Hello Friends! I have been doing a lot of traveling lately and I have shared before how I like to take along a little cross stitch to do while I am sitting in an airplane or a car.

I just cut out a few of the cross stitch panels from MFT Stamps and take them along with me in a little bag. MFT Stamps has some great patterns on their website that you can download, though for these two cards I just made the patterns up as I went along.

Once I got home I assembled my cards. I mounted my card panel onto a scalloped frame (also from MFT Stamps).

For my sentiment I used the Simon Says Stamps Big Thanks Die.  I mounted the sentiment onto a piece of vellum (otherwise it kind of got "lost" in the stitching). And then I used liquid glue (art glitter adhesive) to attach my sentiment to my card front.

Do you enjoy taking along something "crafty" when you travel? It definitely helps me pass the time.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
