Hi Friends! I hope your week is going well. Today, I am sharing another card from the latest release at Technique Tuesday.
I started my card by stamping the Alligator & Crocodile from the Stamp Set onto a green piece of Sunny Studio (Polka Dot Parade) patterned paper. I also stamped and colored one of the birds included in the set with Copic Markers. Next, I used the Alligators & Crocodiles Crafting Dies to die cut my images.
For my card design, I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean for my background. Next, I used patterned paper from the Doodlebug Design At The Zoo paper pad for my layout. I attached my images with foam adhesive and stamped my sentiment onto a flag before attaching it to the top of my card.
Do you ever use patterned paper instead of coloring? Sometimes it is a fun way to mix it up a bit...and in all honesty it makes for a quick card! I hope you give it a try a sometime.
Supplies:
My oldest daughter just graduated and has a new job as a digital analyst for a political organization. While she was home over the weekend she thought she needed a few cards using this set too! She thought this sentiment was perfect!
Enjoy your day,
Dana
