Butterfly Reflections, Ink

August 12, 2019

Hi Crafty Friends!! Today, I am sharing a card on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Blog. I am using the Gorgeous Beloved Daisy stamp set by Altenew, definitely a favorite!

I started my card by using the Beloved Daisy Stamp Set. I did all of my stamping with my MISTI, such a great tool for keeping all the layers lined up and for getting a good impression with your ink. Next, I used the Beloved Daisy Die Set to die cut my flowers and the stems. There is also a Coordinating Beloved Daisy Mask Stencil to go along with this set.

For my sentiment, I used the Pink Fresh Studio You've Got This Stamp Set. This is such a great set, designed by my crafty friend Caly Person (she is so talented). I love how you can build a sentiment with this set, so many great and encouraging words. I stamped my sentiment in VersaMark Ink (onto Vellum Paper) and heat set Silver Embossing Powder. When you are using a heat gun with vellum, make sure your heat gun is very hot and keep moving it over the vellum so your paper doesn't warp.

To finish my card, I attached my vellum to a piece of light aqua cardstock. I added my flowers and a few Pretty Pink Posh Valentine Jewels to my card front. Lastly, I attached everything to my A2 card base.

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day,
Dana

  1. Such a beautiful card with the perfect message of encouragement, Dana! (Follow you on IG but can't comment from my iPad on your blog and others...so frustrating!)

    1. Thank you so much Kathy!! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I agree, it is so frustrating that you can't comment on a blog post from an iPad. Many times I want to leave a comment but I can't on my iPad and that is what I typically use.
