Summer Birthday!

Pretty Pink Posh

August 5, 2019

Good Morning Friends and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend. Today, I am sharing a Birthday card using lots of products from Pretty Pink Posh. I combined a few of my favorites to make a "boy" themed card...something I never have enough of.

I started my card, by stamping the Summer Surfboards in a random pattern onto my card front with VersaMark ink. Then, I heat set white embossing powder onto my stamped images.

Next, I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink onto my card panel. I used Fossilized Amber, Forest Moss and Faded Jeans.

For my images, I stamped my surfboard in Fossilized Amber ink and used the Coordinating Summer Surfboard Die to die cut my image. I then stamped and colored the toucan from the Tropical Toucans Stamp Set. I also used the Tropical Toucans Coordinating Die to die cut my image.

I then began working on my card design. I trimmed down my card panel and mounted it onto a dark blue mat (close to Faded Jeans ink) and then mounted it onto my mustard yellow A2 card base. I added a piece of vellum to my card front so my stamped images wouldn't get "lost". I die cut the Happy Birthday Script Die and mounted it onto my card front. Lastly, I attached my images with foam adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I inspired you to create a card that would be perfect for the boys in your life.
