Good Morning Friends! Christmas is in One Week!! How did that happen so fast? How is your Christmas crafting coming along? Did you get everything created that you hoped? I have another card for Pretty Pink Posh to share with you today that will hopefully give you some inspiration for any crafting you still need to do.
I started my card by using the Whimsical Christmas Stencil along with Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel in Red Velvet (Therm O Web). I sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray (a must have when using intricate stencils) and used a palette knife to spread the Glitter Gel over my cardstock.
I love the detail this stencil creates! I set my panel aside to dry and began working on the rest of my card design.
I stamped the elephant from the Elephant Friends Stamp Set along with Santa Hat from the Joy Stamp Set. I love how the Santa hat fits perfectly on the elephant! I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
For my card panel, I used the Scallop Circles Die Set to die cut a circle from my panel. I then ran it through my die cut machine with a polka dot embossing folder. Next, I attached my stenciled background behind the circle cut out frame.
To finish my card, I stamped my sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Stamp Set onto a vellum strip. I wrapped this around my card front and attached it behind my card panel. Lastly, I attached my adorable little elephant to my card front to finish my card. I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks again to all of you that take the time to comment or follow along.
