Technique Tuesday

Greenhouse Society

December 2, 2019

Good Morning Friends and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a Wonderful weekend and enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday.  Our kids left yesterday, so good to have them home for the week! Now to move onto Christmas and get my shopping finished! Have you started your Christmas shopping? Are you more of an online shopper or in-store shopper? I actually still enjoy making at least one or two trips to the mall this time of year to see things in person before I make my decisions. I don't really enjoy crowds so I try and go on a weekday when things aren't so busy. I know there were some great sales over the weekend...I stayed away from the crowds and shopped online. Did you find any great deals over the weekend?
Today, I am sharing a card from the latest Greenhouse Society Stamp Set from Technique Tuesday. The New Release went live yesterday and it is one of my favorites. I love how the flowers this month are in a vase!

I started my card by stamping the Bowl Bouquet Stamp Set in VersaMark ink and heat setting silver embossing powder. I then used my Zig Clean Color Pens (No 041, No 050, No 021, No 026, No 028) and a Tombow pen (No 291) to watercolor the floral arrangement. Once it was dry, I used the Bowl Bouquet Coordinating Die to die cut my image.

Next, I began working on my card design. I attached my vase to my card front with foam adhesive. I die cut the word Friend (included in the Bowl Bouquet die set) two times from white cardstock and glued them together. I then stamped Thank You onto a white banner strip. I positioned all of my elements onto my card front making sure my sentiment would fit.

To finish my card, I added a few jewels from the Pretty Pink Posh Valentine Jewel Mix
Thanks for joining me today and I will be back tomorrow with a Christmas card to share with you all.
Enjoy your day,
Dana
